Great Product

I bought this lock for my daughter's orchestra locker at school. The good - it's strong and easy to use and remember the code. The bad - it's almost too easy to change the combo. We ran into an issue with this model of lock last year where she had it unlocked and was messing around with it, turned the end to change the combo, and didn't manage to get it changed to something she would remember. One less lock in the world. Other than that though, it works fine.

Easy enough for a 5yo to handle and figure out. Easy Peasy. Buy it, use it…done and done.

Weather proof, struggles during below zero temp but works well in any other weather.

I've now been a member of a fitness club that is way out of my budget for a little over a year now. In this past year, I managed to lock my keys in the locker not once, but twice. While they evacuated the women's locker room so a man could break the second lock off, I thought to myself "maybe it's time I commit to a combination lock." I'm terrible with numbers but I'm pretty good with words. I've got to say, I love this lock.Please note three things:1. The lock I received was fuschia, not blue. I would've liked the blue more, but I don't really care.2. They give you a list of words to choose from. I thought I was going to get to be painfully obvious and use my dog's name (Olaf) for the combination, but that was not an option since not every row has all 26 letters of the alphabet.3. The white enamel is starting to chip from being thrown around in my gym bag, but again, I don't really care. It serves its purpose.If I manage to screw this lock up then I'll cancel my membership to the gym.

I like that it's not a "pick-able" lock. The instructions has a list of all possible 4-letter word combinations. I used a word that was spelled from the bottom up instead of top down. Easy to change the combination. Just don't forget your word! Heavy lock. Seems to be solid. I like that it can't be picked. I worry about key locks being easier to unlock because an experienced crook probably knows how to pick a lock (at the gym?).
