Edema Boots LG - Soft Roomy Slippers for Swollen Feet & Sensitive Skin

I bought these shoes for my mother-in-law as an everyday shoe that she can wear comfortably all day. They turned out to be something she likes, but we had to adjust the size of the Velcro strip on the shoe. Because the strip was so short, I had to sew an additional length to each shoe. Now she can wear the shoes whether her feet are swollen or not. The manufacturer needs to increase the adjustability of this shoe to accommodate more people's needs.

Unable to use to move around, bottom of the slipper is smooth, unable to move about even in wheelchair. Velcro hard to get to attach so that the slipper does not slide off. I had hopes. I should read reviews instead of being trusting. Great idea, light weight ... might have worked for summer time but unable to keep on the feet ... or move about the room, etc....to move/bottom too smooth to walk in and/or roll wheelchair in.

Bought these for an aunt with extreme swelling. Not even close to fitting. I bought the extra large which were not even as long as my size 7 shoe. But I kept them and took off the flap, inserted it in a slit I made in the back of the slipper, then took out the front toe seam and cut the vinyl edge in front, resewed the slipper fabric to the vinyl and inserted my own fabric, lined with fleece, in the shape of a triangle, to that toe area. Now they fit great. I wish I had a photo.

They are what they say---slippers for swollen feet! I've washed mine several times, and they are still looking good.I don't walk--so I don't know about walking with these on---the soles may be too slick for decent traction.They are easy to get on, but be aware that there is no side support in these slippers---and they may slide around on your feet.

These are terrible. I sent them to my grandmother and they will not even start to go over her feet. She has cold swollen feet and I was trying to find something other that socks to keep her warm. These are just terrible. Also, you have to pay to send them back so your refund is really minimal. I do not recommend these for swollen feet. Socks are a better choice that these.

They seemed like nice slippers but really ran small.

These slippers were perfect for my mother. She suffers arthritis in her feet and hands, and some days getting shoes or slippers on is almost impossible.With these she easily gets them on and off, and the soles are strong enough for her to walk around on the hardwood floors or out on the deck with the dogs.I was worried about her staying warm in colder weather and these are the perfect choice for warmth, comfort and safety.

Would have worked if they opened more and a little bigger kept them for later just need something soft like them and open a little more
