Air Vent Mount, Celace(TM) 2-Pack Universal Magnetic Holder for Mobile Phones and Mini Tablets (2-Pack)

Used this in my old Honda with an old Sirius Radio tuner and it works fantastic. However, it does not work in my new Jeep because of the way the vents work, the weight of my iPhone either makes it fall off the vent or, if the vent is spun 90 degrees it pulls the vent down and then falls off. This is more an issue of the way Jeep does their vents than a failing on the part of the mount. It does seem to work through my iPhone's Spigen case however, so that is a plus as I really didn't want to attach the plate directly to my phone. I just placed it between the case and the phone. I also like that it has a rubber cover on the magnetic mount so it doesn't scratch my case. And even though I can't use it in my Jeep, I am in a rental car four days a week and it is small enough I can just throw it in my backpack and use it in the rental cars to hold my phone while I drive.

Great design idea. This magnet won't work through a battery pack case like mine which is an xlife case. It will magnetically stick barely if your not moving. I stuck the metal stick on, on the outside of my case and it stays put. I haven't had any problem with stick on glue releasing so far but I've only had it a week. My case has the soft slightly slippery rubber feel. It comes with 2 vent magnets and 4 thin metal pieces with peal and stick one side. The metal stick ons can interfere with the Qi wireless charging. My phone was unusually hot after charging the first time. My stick on is as high and to the right as I could get it and not be on the curved edge of the case. Now I put my phone on the charger as far away from the stick on as I can and it seems to be doing alright. If you don't put the metal piece in the center of your case the phone will rotate to put the heaviest part to the bottom. The magnet is the right strength. Using the metal stuck on the outside of my case I almost pull the magnet off of the vent when I pull my phone off sometimes. Inside a thin case it should be perfect.

I used this holder once and converted my whole family. In total I purchased 8 of these items for each car we owned. There aren't really any cons, but when you use this make sure the metal backplate that sticks to your phone is not covered by your thick phone case.I almost returnew this product because my Skagen phone case also had a rubber cushion to protect the phone from drops. After I figured out on leaving the backplate sandwhiched in between the cover and the rubber cushion the magnetic vent clip quickly grabbed a hold of my phone and didn't drip while I'm driving.Nice convenient product without messing with opening and closing the phone grips like the other holders. If you're always on the go then this phone Holder is for you.BTW I have a Note 4 which is a big phone and this magnet holder was able to hold the weight.

Could be stronger , nowhere near the strength of the Logitech vent magnets, I usually use bigger phones like note 5 , s7 edge , soon the note 7 and iPhone 6s plus , and the strength of the magnet means everything to me !

Works great! Holds phone in place and the A/C vent keeps my phone cool while the map app is running! I didn't use the sticky backing. Just put it in my phone case. It does move around a little but that isn't an issue for me. I don't like sticking anything permanently to my phone.

I received this on time and it works great. I have two cars, so I put a magnetic in each. It keeps the phone secured in one place that is easy to see. I would and have recommended this product to friends.

This is a life saver I don't have to be searching for my phone when I'm in the car. very good it hasn't failed me once
