Color quickly fades then disappears
The paint used to color the bulb fades then disappears after only a few hours of use. I would have given it more than 1 star if I had a use for a clear incandescent bulb somewhere else in the house, but I prefer CFL for normal use.

lasted a month; not a rainbow
Lasted less than a month on a reliable circuit and lamp. Although it casted a nice enough light, it didn't run the color spectrum like another rainbow light I picked; the blue green were missing. It was a subtler effect, not a rainbow.I suspect that given the poor color range and poor reliability that this is a cheap knockoff.

Pretty light bulb
Easy to scratch color off of the bulb and not sure how long it will last. Purchased for my outdoor patio so the light is not used constantly. Rainbow colors are not the same as package shows but bulb is still colorful and unique.
