It took several hours to fully puff up to its full height. Its higher quality than I was expecting. Fits my queen bed PERFECT. When I first unrolled it I was worried because it fell several inches short of my mattress, but it puffed up to the full size within a few hours. This thing is COMFY! I have cancer and I am rail thin due to Chemotherapy. My bones used to hurt every morning and I am unable to sleep through the night due to having to reposition frequently to take pressure off areas. This topper has made it so I can now sleep through the night and no bone pain in the morning. It's amazing. How in the world does just 2" of memory foam make such a HUGE difference? How did I sleep without this before? Great value for the cost. I can't recommend this highly enough.EDIT: Coming back to add that I have now purchased 4 of these. I put them in my Airbnb after sleeping on mine for a few weeks. The reviews I'm getting are fantastic. Everyone that stays in my Airbnb comments on how comfortable the beds are. This was a GREAT investment for my small business! I purchased the 2" green tea and 2" lavender in queen and twin sizes for my vacation rental. They are under mattress protectors at my Airbnb to protect them, so regrettably my guests don't get the wonderful aromatic benefits. But, they sure are loving the comfort! Best mattress toppers I have ever found and you really can't beat the amazing price. My personal thank you to the manufacturer and seller for providing such an amazing product.

This is really comfortable. Only minus was the very strong smell the first couple of days. But the smell was lavender so it was pleasant, not like a chemical smell, but it was strong.

This is the second one of these mattress pad that I have purchased. Both the lavender infused. 3 in. I purchased a Twin size one and realized how great it was so I ordered one for our Queen size bed. Important to know. The Twin one only took about 20 hours to fully expand. However the Queen size one was really crammed in that box and it took more like 60 hours to fully expand. I also noticed that when I moved it into a cold spare room when I went to bed the first night that it didn't really keep expanding. I determined that it needs a warm room. The two ends were the slowest to expand and I found that if I warmed them up a little with a blow dryer on warm setting them massaged them a little, they start expanding faster. It is worth the wait and extra effort. It is the right level of softness so comfortable for our poor aching joints. It is truly like sleeping on a cloud.
