For some time now we’re been working on the DIY haircut. We’re certainly not professionals, but some of our haircuts look fairly decent. I’ve already made a few correctable mistakes, ones I could fix. I’m sure when Mom uses these, she’ll do just fine.These clippers can be easily charged via a battery pack or wall charger (not included) within an hour. There’s a USB cord in the box. These were already fully charged right out of the box, something I appreciated. For the price of these clippers, around $25 at the time of writing, they are most certainly worth experimenting with. I love the fact that this is an entire kit and there’s no need to purchase anything, including a small salon cape.There are several guide combs (listed below) and a very comprehensive User Manual. There are several books out there from  Haircutting for Beginners  to more specific ones for cutting children’s hair. This would make for a really good shower gift, one that will be really appreciate. It does charge...I've left it for almost 2 hrs plugged in and only the light comes on but the machine it's self will not start 😖 my two yr old is autistic and is petrified of the regular hair clippers .

Confession - I bought this for me. I was hoping it would have cutting guides to help novice hair cutters. The directions for use cleaning are excellent, novice hair cutter or not, you'll have to learn art of cutting hair either with videos on line or old fashioned trial and error.These clippers are very quiet. They're sharp, come with a ton of accessories: cleaning brush, 3 hair guides(3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm) , long comb, a small barber apron, drawstring bag for storage, usb charging cable and a detail trimmer. Charges quickly with usb cord (you supply the adapter, no big).One thing I do not like, I've seen it on other hair clippers - the hair guides are two sided, easy enough to flip them over, but it's also very easy to cut too deeply since these are rounded instead of flat as most clipper guides This takes serious getting used to. Not something that you can just wave over a child's hair and be done.Overall these are excellent clippers for adults and kids. Quality is excellent and there are a ton of goodies to go along with these clippers to make it a very sound decision to buy.
