Once I got the configuration figured out, it did what I needed it to do.I was looking for a firewall to forward HTTP and HTTPS traffic to a PC on the network and also direct RDP connections to the same computer. Of course, I wanted to do this securely with passwords. I found SonicWall Tech Support very lacking - it took several calls including a couple of Techs who said it couldn't be done. I was finally able to find one who "figured it out".I considered giving it a lower score, but the firewall actually works and is easy to set up except for security.

Bought this to upgrade an auto repair shop. Much faster and more secure than their old, outdated consumer router. New SonicWall OS makes setup much easier and quicker, once you can find where they moved everything.Delivered quickly and in perfect shape. Registered with no problems.

Sonic wall customer service is outstanding took a little while but was able to get it all configured the way I wanted.

The SonicWall TZ270 is a great firewall. However, how the links are set up for this product are completely messed up. If you click the second or third choice you get the "upgrade" version. But "upgrade" in SW lingo means you are replacing an existing SW appliance with this upgrade device -- not upgrading the software licensing from 1 to 2 or three years. SonicWall, PLEASE FIX THIS!
