Huge
Nice float y’all, I use it on top of my 6’ cowboy pool under a pool cover to keep the cover off of the water, it now triples as a outdoor bed, pool cover, and a float for the creek. Nice design very tough and durable. One thing I dislike is the normal float blow up pieces as this function limits being able to deflate it quickly.

Great float, not just for the money, flat out great float
GREAT PRODUCT. Not sure about the bad reviews, but here is my experience. First, this thing is huge, I am 6'4" and 200lbs. my 5'8" wife and I can both lounge on this thing in our pool without being on top of each other. Also, the air chambers are thick enough and the plastic is thick enough that the float does not bend in the middle like a taco or bend on the sides (you can lay on the edge or dead middle and it stays stable and stiff yet comfortable). It is plenty bouyant, I am not going to say my wife's weight (she is skinny), but it could easily hold more weight without bending or sinking, my guess is in excess of 400lbs.The real test was with the kiddies for whom we bought it. We have a 12yr old girl and 10yr old boy who thought the best thing about the float was to launch themselves off the edge of the pool onto it Jimmy Superfly style (we have a 2' waterfall they can jump off of and yes, I am dating myself with the Superfly reference). The two of them and their friends beat the crap out of this thing playing games, shoving each other off, flipping it over, jumping from the pool edge onto it etc...and it lasted the entire season no problems. I am sure we got a little lucky that it did not develop any leaks, but as I said before, it is heavy gauge plastic, much heavier than your average pool ring. With the kids this age, it easily fit as many as 4-5 of them on it at a time...kind of a small kid pile.Couple other comments. We left the rope off, seemed to be kind of a nuisance, plus never sure if that is more of a hazard than a help. I have a patch kit I would use on it if it ever did develop a leak. Like I said, this thing is HUGE, not only the circumference but thick, trust me, you do not want to blow this up without a pump...you will pass out. Everybody had such a good time on it (ie: we would fight over who gets to use it) that we plan to buy one or two more and we own many rings and other floats. Would be nice to have another color or two to choose from, but whatever, this float is excellent and I highly recommend, definitely can't beat it for the price.Final comment: for some reason I feel compelled to say I have no connection with the company that sells this product...seems to be something I see often in reviews these days so I want to be sure it is clear my commentary is completely my own and unsolicited.

Size Incorrect
Fully inflated pool float is only 62 inches in diameter despite the box saying that the pool float is 72 inches in diameter.

Amazing raft/ float!
Bought this for the size. I'm a thick tater and wanted something I could lounge on fully, comfortably without half of my body immersed in water. It's been incredibly durable. It has stayed out in the elements all summer. You can pretty much roll around it because of the size. It's amazing.Folks were asking about weight limits. I am not sure on a figure but I know it holds up to 300lbs easily, comfortably and without even remotely sinking. It has handled multiple people heavier than 250lbs and teenage boys being full belly flopping on it all summer. After all that abuse and neglect it is still holding up this plus size thunder chunky like a champ. Haven't had to reinflate or patch it yet. Will def be purchasing another.

Swimline makes a good island raft
I got this Swimline raft because of its name .. .. I have owned 2 other rafts by Swimline .. this is my first island raft .. arrived in the Swimline box , would have been nice to more protection and have had Amazon send it inside of a box .. the island raft is about 10 inches thick however mine is not 72" wide, it is 64" wide .. my kids' dont quite fit on it , their feet dangle off the end .. other than being shorter than described it is a good sturdy comfy island raft .. good quality from a good manufacturer

Lasts For One Season
I like this float very much when it is able to keep the air inside. I've found on average that you can get one good season of use out of a float, and this one is no different. It worked well for the 2017 swim season, but when I took it out in 2018, I soon found that there were leaks in the float. They supply you with a patch in the box, but to be honest, that is not strong enough to keep the air inside when an adult is laying on it. I used the same patch kit that I use for my vinyl pool liner to repair the float. It will keep the air in for one afternoon of floating, but then the air slowly leaks out before the next swim. I recently noticed that there seems to be some leaking from the plug on the outer ring. I pushed the stopper in hard, but I think the air slowly leaks out anyway. There are three connected circular chambers that make up this float. The air leaked out of all of them over the winter. I'm not sure how the plastic got damaged over the winter, and perhaps I didn't store it carefully enough. However, I guess my assessment is that this is not overly durable. It's lovely to float on when it's new -- just my size! Unfortunately, it only worked well for one swimming season for me. Also, I would prefer this to be available in more colors. Yellow isn't really my favorite.

First time using
Thought this was such a fun item for the pool. First time I blew it up. It deflated in 1 hour. Can't find a hole or any puncture. I think it's defective.

Great float that keeps you out of the water.
I love this lounger. It's been a seasonably cold summer and I wanted something that would keep me out of the water and still let me enjoy my new pool. This did the trick for me.I'm fairly short at 5'4 and if I sit directly in the middle there is no touching the water at all. I scoot down a little and I can dangle my feet over to touch the water if I get too hot. It seems to make all the difference in the world. The suntanning part of this with the reflective bottom to tan both sides of you at once doesn't seem to work perfectly. My front was super tanned while my backside was marginally if at all tanned. It's not perfect. If I wanted I could just flip over it's not that difficult. I'm pleasantly pleased with my float. I'm glad I purchased this.
