good for practice, not for score estimation
It was a bit harder than the sample tests published by the college board. The question types however, are almost identical and the passages are neither too difficult nor too hard (which is uncommon for unofficial test preps). It would recommend it as an excellent prep book, but not as a self-assessment book.

Realistic model tests in math, reading, and writing
I am a full-time tutor and test prep expert. In addition, since the SAT changed format in March, 2016, I have taken the official test twice--once in May, and once in October, 2016. During the course of my tutoring, I have worked with material from Barron's, Kaplan, and Princeton Review, among others, but I find that the material in this book emulates the authentic College Board practice tests better than any other preparatory material that I have encountered. I highly recommend this and other books in the series for those who have exhausted all of the official practice tests and are looking for additional, realistic preparatory material.

I am very satisfied with this purchase
I am very satisfied with this purchase. After looking into one of my daughter's books and examining it, there is a large variety of questions, passages, and math questions.

IES has always the best qualitiy and never sets for less
As a parent, I always look for consistency in review books. IES has always the best qualitiy and never sets for less. Being part of the advanced series, the questions are particularly hardly but its to only benefit you. Going through all the topics from Grammar to Math, you will have all the help you need with it's focused sections on specific skills. That is my favorite part of IES. They have specific skills that you can practice if you have trouble on them. Personally as a parent, I can't recommend enough of IES and I think it's the best book on the market
