Packaged well. I received my pint of Vactra #2 in perfect condition in a bottle with a flip-top lid, double-sealed against leaks in shipment. There were absolutely zero leaks. Would recommend, as I only needed a pint not 2-1/2, 5 or 30 gallons for my home shop. Perfect product for a specific application: Slide ways on a lathe.

Took a chance/experimented, and this stuff makes a noticeable improvement in movement, protection, and retention! Will never go back to motor oil !! It is worth it for protection and op performance.

Whether you've got a milling machine or lathe, or maybe just have some drill press vises or milling vises you want to keep lubricated, this stuff is the way to go. Leaves a nice coating on the surface of the ways that won't easily run and keeps its form. Very low mess and very effective at its intended purpose. There are quite a few products out there for this, but Vactra No. 2 oil remains my #1 choice, and should be yours too. Get some, you won't be disappointed.

I have used this oil for years, however the formula may have changed. It is not tacky as before. I have found Vacuoline 1409 to be much better.

The ad says it has a tackiness after applied, it doesn't!
