Fantastic book with lots of inspirational ideas that I can't wait to get started on. One of the best craft books I've bought in a long time. It made me feel like a child in a sweet shop!

My book got sent to our summer address but finally arrived a few days ago. What a great book by a very talented worman. I'm a color lover and Julie Creus is tops in choosing vibrant fabric and blending and contrasting the colors and patterns. She has a sense of whimsy in many of her patterns which makes me smile. The patchwork llama is one of these. I love that little guy and have already bought the fabric to make it for my grandson. In the past I have used several of the La Todera patterns. As in the book, the directions with photographs are clear and any one could follow them. Always get compliments when I use my "fan purses" and use many of the flowers for little thank you and hostess gifts. After the llama is done I can't wait to make the Zaftig Zinnia and more.

Not 0 stars only because can't give 0 and the production value of the book itself is very high - great pictures, paper stock, etc. The projects looked like something you'd find in a cheap 1960s magazine "for housewives". I did like some of the fabric used, but the construction techniques were basic sewing or basic quilting. What a waste!

This is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I wish I had more time to make a lot of the pincushions and placemats for myself and for gifts. There are so many things in this book. If you are into fabric crafts, this book is for you. I plan on making everything in this book. Everything looks easy enough to do.
