Awesome Value - Great Customer Service
I purchased this product to replace the OEM unit in my 2006 Ford F150. This was my first attempt to do this type of installation. I did some research online and also purchased a vehicle specific wiring harness and trim kit. With that and a couple YouTube videos, installation was relatively simple. The most difficult part was figuring out how to run the wire for the backup camera. But I managed to find a hole in the floor panel under the carpet next to the driver’s seat, and I was good to go.Once installed, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the unit, especially for the price. Sound quality is good. The touch screen is very responsive. Controls are simple. I had no problem connecting my phone in Bluetooth mode. Google Maps and Waze work nicely when connected via USB cable. My initial complaint was that the volume control was awkward. In radio mode, the comfortable listening range was about 1-5. Even on 1, it was sometimes too loud, especially when trying to have a conversation with another person in the truck. The volume range in Bluetooth mode was only slightly better. I contacted customer service via their Facebook page, and their response was prompt and very helpful. Within just a few hours, they sent me new software with very clear instructions on how to install it via the USB port. I also asked them to add a custom logo and wallpaper, which they happily did for me. After the simple and easy software update, my volume control is now much better.Overall, I am extremely satisfied and happy with my purchase. I am especially grateful to the person who helped me with the software update for his very prompt and friendly service. My one suggestion for a future update to the software would be to add the capability to display Artist & Song Title information that is broadcast over the air waves. The unit shows that information in Bluetooth mode, but currently cannot show information broadcast with the radio signal.

Amazing quality for the price!
We replaced a super old after-market stereo with this one and it completely modernized our old corolla! The installation was actually really easy. The stereo itself works great! I contacted customer service for the firmware update and they changed the boot up screen to the Toyota logo.My favorite thing about it is Apple CarPlay, which works wonders on this stereo. It boots up fast and works really well.I was also surprised by the quality of the EQ presets, they changed the sound of the songs in a really noticeable way for me :) so I’m excited to play around with that.Overall, 10/10 recommend and would purchase again! This is the one you want if you want a nice stereo on a budget! The ONLY thing I could think of as a “con” is that the touch screen lags just a bit compared to an iPhone in certain screens and features, but that’s hardly something to hold me back on (and it’s not even an issue with the radio app or Apple CarPlay where the phone is the processor anyway)

Unit will not last long
AFTER 11 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP....Origional Review Here:I purchased this unit as a replacement for the factory head unit in a 1999 Lincoln Navigator. Since I am using this older vehicle of ours for equipment transport and not as a family vehicle, I was looking for something inexpensive to just provide some music options while I am travelling. This system does a great job at that. I have been overly impressed with the unit this far. Features I have been impressed with are the following:1. Responsive touch screen.2. Backup and front camera options3. Highly configurable Equalizer system.4. Mirror cast for phones which provide a suprisingly great resolution for videos and the ability to run a navigation from your phone.4. Descent quality microphone for hands free talking.5. Wired options for factory steering wheel controls.6. Unit display adjustments to match the vehicle. There are a few things that I am not a fan of though and those are:1. Small screen buttons for volume which makes it somewhat difficult to adjust on the screen2. Phone casting requires the phone screen to remain active. Would be nice if the installed app allowed you to hibernate your phone screen while still using apps like navigation.3. The double DIN unit does require modification to your dash. Once you commit to updating, especially older Ford models (2007 or earlier) you will not be able to go back to a factory setup.I will note that I have had the unit installed for only about 2 months with minimal use. I will provide an update one I have the cameras installed, update the speakers from factory and have more play time on the unit.Current Review:After about a month of posting the initial review, and after roughly 6-8 hours of actual use, the internal amplifier began to give out. As you play the unit at a normal level (levels 12-15 out of 30) it worked fine for about 25 minutes then the sound would slowly began to fade out until the sound completely goes away. You would then have to turn the unit completely off, wait 5-10 min then the unit would begin working again only to repeat the failure after another 20 min.I contacted the company and they responded stating that the unit likely just needed to be reset. They gave me the instructions on how to do so. After multiple resets the unit continued to fail in the exact same manner. After around 5 months of ownership and 10-12 attempted hours of use the system began to have a secondary failure of 'flashing'. This is where the unit would shut down and reset itself. All of the stored and configurations would be lost and the factory setting would return. At this stage the unit was barely used. However the unit stayed in the vehicle for the time being since this vehicle is not driven daily.Unfortunately after a 3 week period where the vehicle sat unproven, the battery died. We charged it, tested and continued to operate it. However after another couple of weeks of sitting the battery again died.At this stage I took a multi-meter and tested for the battery drain. Unsurprisingly, it turned out to be the head unit. At this stage the unit was removed and shelved. The unit was installed professionally, all wires on the harness was connected correctly with insulation connectors and heat shrank so there was no grounding issues or cross wiring that could have damaged the unit. The system simply came as defective. Although the features were great and the company was fairly responsive in helping attempt to resolve the issue at the end of the day the quality control of the units are not good. There were several comments I read saying these issues affected thier installs. Woth the price However and given we were only looking at getting a unit in the vehicle just for some sound and nothing major as an install, we elected to buy it and take a chance.I sadly cannot recommend this as a purchase. If you ignore the negative comments and do just know you are gambling that the unit will last. I would rather recommend to spend another 50-75 for a more well known brand and avoid the potential issues.

Decent for the price. Easy to install
Works fairly well. Occasionally blanks out and have to input my radio stations again. But works great for the price and can even load in images into the home screen.

Good but after time worsens
Had it for 2 years. It has now started turning off and on randomly. Sometimes won’t turn on at all till 20 mins of driving. I know it has to be the system because all my connections were soldered for strongest connection than heat shrink wraps. Plus it turns off and on randomly. Over all has been great for 2 years but recent months has been on the decline.
