20" Wire Sphere Globe

This is a very well-made, sturdy globe. An interesting feature of the design is that what initially looks like lines of latitude is actually a single spiral wire that runs from the pole to the equator. Since I was attaching lights to the globe, I could simply attach the lights to the spiral. For the 20-inch globe, a light string that follows the spiral from pole to pole has to be about 72 feet long. My three 24-foot strings of LEDs (70 lights on each string spaced every 4 inches) worked out perfectly.

Not able to use my mistake

Simple and not overly costly. I finished them with strings of lights and they are great on our front entry this winter.

These were used to make Christmas decorations and worked really well. Great product!
