Yes, it's a sturdy bottle that will work for its purpose. The oz. markings are useful for measuring vinegar, oil, and any other liquid ingredients. The "recipes" are a neutral feature, you can find salad dressing recipes all over the Internet.My main issue with the design is the narrow neck, which makes it a little harder than it needs to be to get solid ingredients such a pepper and salt in there. I find it easier to use a funnel for the liquids. The rubber stopper is pretty much useless, although you can use it with just the screw on cap.It is still usable, and I won't use this review to advertise a specific competing product, but I've found a different kind of dressing bottle with a much better design. This one was used a few times, but now collects dust.

After comparing similar items on Amazon, I chose this item because of these unique features: 100% made in the USA, resilient borosilicate glass, large capacity (16 oz); and two lids, one of which is attached to bottle. The attached label indicates that it is "dishwasher safe" but I am concerned that the printed recipes will eventually wash off. I would prefer for the recipes to be "etched" onto the bottle. Also, the "stopper" cap: Is it rubber or silicone? I would prefer food-safe, 100% pure silicone for the "stopper" top. If the "stopper" we're silicone and if the printed recipes were "etched" onto the bottle, I would give this item five stars.UPDATE: 03.07.17: I received a reply from the seller: The "stopper" is made of 100% food-grade silicone. They said that the printed recipes will not fade, after repeated dishwasher cycles. Therefore, I updated the stars to five, instead of four.

I've been using this dressing jar almost every day for about two years now and it's holding up well. The print on the glass is still intact and not showing ANY signs of wear. The glass itself is strong and can withstand more abuse than I would have expected. I've dropped it on my concrete countertop as well as my slate floor and it hasn't broken. I'm still using the original screw cap too.I've never had any use for the stopper, but I have it just in case I happen to somehow break the cap.

This bottle is larger than the "typical" mix it yourself bottles which is perfect for me! The screw on cap is good for shaking the dressing while the rubber stopper is good for daily use. Highly recommended!

Nice size glass bottle. Haven't used the recipes, but I do use the oz. markings. Rubber stopper is a nice touch, but it's a little messy when it's removed. Price is reasonable. All-in-all a descent salad dressing bottle.

The bottle and stopper are nice quality. My problem was with the recipe labels, which are not as described. The description says "INCLUDES 4 RECIPES; Raspberry Vinaigrette, Caesar, Basic Vinaigrette, and Greek," which all sound great. However, the bottle that was delivered had recipes for Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette, Lime Vinaigrette, and Lite Italian. I hate maple syrup and really don't like "lite" dressings, so this was a disappointment.
