"Lights Fast & Easy" but Doesn't Burn or Heat Like Real Wood
As advertised, "lights fast and easy..." but doesn't burn like natural wood. It doesn't generate nearly as much heat (and we were trying to use it as an alternative to our furnace, which is undergoing a lengthy repair), and doesn't crumble as it burns into hot, solid embers like real wood. It burns a bit like a large candle wick, though with a similar flame to actual logs during the first stage of burning. However, as it's consumed, what's left is an orange-hot, wafer-light but oddly bulky hull, reminding me of Styrofoam. For lack of a solid bed of red-hot embers, it takes some effort and manipulation to keep the fire going over a period of time. I cannot find this exact item on the manufacturer's website, but one of their similar products is made from recycled, waxed cardboard. The environmentally-friendly statements about the product sound impressive -- so it really comes down to what you're looking for in your firewood. Burning a whole bundle in an evening doesn't even maintain the temperature on our thermostat, much less raise it. I'll be looking for the real thing next time.

The only "premium" thing about this "firewood" is the price!
I bought several bundles of this "premium firewood" t warm my house while I was ill and unable to split my own firewood. This wood is light softwood that burns quickly and produces little heat. I bought it for $5.99 per bundle at a local grocery store. At that "low" price, this "firewood" costs - are you sitting down? - $1180 per cord! (A cord is a closely stacked array of wood measuring 8' long x 4' wide x 4' high.) Good firewood is hardwood such as oak, maple, etc. This "premium firewood" is a mix of fir, spruce, pine, and other conifer trees that are NOT hardwoods. Save your $$. Buy locally from reputable firewood sellers. The price for good oak, madrone, or other hardwoods should run about $300 to $800 per cord depending on where you live. Expect to pay higher prices if you live in a large city.

Do NOT buy!
These logs not only burn ridiculously fast, they pop with the ferocity of a nuclear b__b signaling the end of days! They also leave a TON of black soot all over the tiles! You are better off finding a brand that uses HIGH quality wood because these logs are not it! Ugh! #WasteOfGOODMoney
R**.
don't waste your money
how they can even sell this is beyond me.Won't even light on its on with a lighter as advertised you have to really put a fire log under it to get it going and then no flame really you just end up with some embers after a while .The price is absurd for what is much better off to just even buy the 6.99 real little bundles of firewood from the anywhere

Made me sick
This is obviously treated with something, which is not printed on the label. Very bad product - made me sick! And it didn't burn like real wood.

Does not light fast and easy as advertised.
This wood would not burn at all. I bought fatwood and then another fire starter , but the log never burned. What a big waste of time and money.
