So bright!
1st one i received didn't work. Got a replacement very quickly. It's so bright and it's much better than I had expected. Great purchase and will use it on the boat, camping and off roading.

Bright, works well!
Would like to see a wall plug adapter, and a better retention system for the pole (locking it in place at extension) but besides that it's very nice and bright. Remote works well and modes and very cool and could be useful in an emergency, or dance party whatever you feel is appropriate.

Poor quality.
Received the light in the mail, plugged it in to test and it worked flawlessly. Instant response from the remote, and super bright when up 100%. Took it camping two days later and now it won’t do anything. There is no way to bypass the remote control, so it is virtually useless, and there is no help info anywhere to troubleshoot or even try to relearn the remote if that’s the problem. Highly desirable piece of Chinese junk. If it was made higher quality then twice the money would be worth it.

Impressive with some concerns
OK. Have had it for about two months and just got around to testing it. The positive news:. It is VERY VERY BRIGHT, it is light (from a weight perspective), it's tall enough, relatively easy to setup (5-10 min max), the cabling is fine and long enough, the power clips do their job, the bag it comes in is sufficient - meaning that you can get everything into it without too much fuss...actually, no fuss at all.The negative news: the stake/holder to hold the thing in the ground is inadequate. First, the bottom of it is round (instead of sharp) so getting it into the ground is going to be an issue. You can't hammer it...just pushing on it broke the bottom plate which holds the lighting system poles. You will have to jury rig some kind of stand to hold the pole. Even if you got the holder into the ground, I'm not sure how much wind or bumping it would handle before the whole thing falling over. Now for the observations which are just observations. You do have to attached the five (5) lights to the holder (which screws onto the end of the extension pole. It's not difficult to do this by any means, but it would have been really cool if the lights would fold down or collapse in a manner so you don't have to assemble it and disassemble it (when you're done with it). Speaking of the lights - they are very interesting, not exactly sure how they work, because they don't look like lights I've ever seen before, but they are super bright. And, not sure how durable they are, so I guess we'll find out over time. I'm thinking of creating some kind of padding to put in between the lights to protect them from rubbing against each other. I don't know if it will make any difference, but better safe than sorry. Also, with the remote you can increase/decrease the light level and make them flash/strobe in several different. When this thing is on, you're neighbors will know...it's really bright.Would I buy another one at this point? I'm not sure, only because it is a bit expensive. If this was selling for between $50-75 I would definitely buy at least one more. But for $100+ (and that doesn't include any kind of battery), we'll have to see how durable it is before we invest in another one.
