Understanding Torts

This is a great book that helped me through Torts. If you are taking torts semester 1 of 1L then buy this book. You need a book that lays out the law in a different way than a casebook. This is a great choice for Torts. What has worked for me is to look at the topics you are going to cover. Read the relevant sections of Understanding Torts...then read your casebook and any other materials your professor provides.

Well written, easy to follow along once you are used to the format. The book does not like to stay open though without some force so it made homework time interesting.

I highly recommend this book for 1Ls! If you are confused in torts, this book puts everything in plain English making it fully understandable. Life saver.
