As Both a Kid and an Adult, This Rocks
Before I get into the review itself, let me just say that I first saw this movie back in 2002, when I was only 8 at the time. The shots of the aircraft captivated me, and it fueled my interest in the field of flight and aerial combat. Over time, I watched it countless times, but eventually lost it among all my other things. Now in 2013, I was thrilled to see it for sale on Amazon, and for the low price of $7, I bought it in a heartbeat. I played it as soon as it arrived, and I'm happy to say that it's just as enchanting as the first time I saw it.First things first though, what's this movie about? Many seem to have bought this thinking it was a documentary, and if that's what you're after, look else where. Instead, this is a 45 minute collection of footage demonstrating various modern jet fighters performing maneuvers, bombing runs, and landing/take off runs. The film uses various types of filming techniques to show this, even including cockpit and POV shots every now and then. Almost all of the footage is real and well done, but for some strange reason a few quick CGI segments were implemented. I have no idea why, because they look pretty bad and stick out like a sore thumb. Another issue is that some shots are repeated, on occasion up to 4 times! As for the contents itself, the jets you'll get to examine here are the (in order of appearance) F16, SAAB Gripen, Eurofighter, Dassault Rafale, SU-27, S-37, F/A 18, and the F22 Raptor. Along the way you'll see bits and piece of other planes, but the main focus is on these. It should be noted that on the included scene guide, the Gripen and the Eurofighter are switched in order. Also included are shots of various ejections and missile firing, which is a nice bonus. Some people have complained about the music, and I guess I can see why. It's that stock 80's/90's rock you hear in a lot of documentaries and PSA's from the time, but to be honest, I think it sets the perfect "Top Gun" mood, and at times, the music can actually be very awesome! Worst comes to worst, mute it and put on your own tunes.Overall, this is a great viewing for anyone who loves watching footage of aircraft. Kids and adults alike can take pleasure in it, as long as this is what you're looking for: a joyride. Remember, those interested in seeing a documentary with facts and narrations about the planes, this is not your disc. Thanks for reading.

Well worth the bucks
This DVD is excellent. Nothing but flying. It shows many of the worlds fighters in flight, weapon tests and other footage. It's very cheap and the footage is amazing. No commentary just pure flight. I have watched it about 50 times and enjoy it every time. My only complaints are it's a little short [But then look at the price and length of the average Imax film.] The music is a little annoying. But for the price it is worth it.

JP-4 in my Veins
The DVD offers some of the best fighter jet scenes I had ever seen. All of the new state-of-the-art aircraft were featured in the video. From the new European fighters, to the newest Mig, to the advanced F-22 Raptor.I was expecting a documentary style feature, but instead they are multiple scenes of the aircraft, and music playing in the background. The music was mostly 80's rock, and seem pretty boring to me. However, I didn't mind the music because the angles in which the aircraft were captured were pretty amazing. If you expect to learn something from this video, try looking at Wings. Not a word is mentioned here, except for a few pilot chatter, otherwise is just aircraft and music.

Pure Flying
This was nothing but pure flying. I wish that there would have been some comentary along with the footage. All it shows is planes in the air. No documentary or dialogue. Just some music that is ok but gets on your nerves after a while. Some of the footage was computer generated and not real. Most, however, was pure flying footage. If you do not know much about military aircraft it is difficut to tell when you are watching a different plane. For the price you can't beat it. But if you want to learn more about aviation, this company makes a three dvd set of documentaries about bombers, fighters and attack planes that is much better and the price is about the same. This was a better choice for me.

Piture is good but duplicating again and again
The picture qulity is really good and sound as well, but too many scenes are duplicated again and again, as many as 5 times for some segments.
