Benzoin Essential Oil - Real Styrax Benzoin - Very Thick (030 mL - 1.0 fl oz. Bottle)

I am pleasantly pleased with the Benzoin Styrax essential oil I received from Oakland Gardens. This is 100% pure Benzoin! It is very thick, as it should be and in order to get it out of the bottle you will need to heat it up a bit. Do not over heat it. It has a wonderful warm vanilla scent that is very pleasant. It blends well with carrier oils for topical use, a little bit will go a long ways. It can be deffused, but you need to mix just a little bit of it to another essential oil of thinner consistency. It works really well in a burner type using a tea light candle. Thank you Oakland Gardens for your wonderful products and customer service. 💕

I love the scent of Benzoin, and this has a very good scent. It came well packaged and no problem with dispensing, the cap keeps it covered well with out any leakage. Benzoin is very thick and gooey so a drop reducing orifice would not work and so the other type cap that is provided works well, you can tilt the container and very carefully drop globs of benzoin into your mixtures. But caution is advised! To use the very least dilution with Benzoin, b/c while it smells so good you will want to use a lot, it can cause skin sensitization! Read dilution recommendations for essential oils and use the least dilution possible with Benzoin and read cautions about Benzoin that it can cause skin sensitization, as no warning is provided unless you do the research and look it up. Otherwise a very nice product and works very well added to essential oil combinations and mixtures in a very low dilution.

Have used this in cold process soap scenting and have found it to be great. Bottle needs to be warmed for ease of getting it out to weigh, but thats not a problem. Scent offers a wonderful vanilla fragrance and is delightful. Have also used in DIY lotions. Its very very nice and will buy again. Ships quick!!

True Benzion

Did not know that this oil is extremely thick and sticky! When I put it in my diffuser, a blob of it dropped in. I took it out and it stuck all over my hands. EXTREMELY sticky! Had to use WD 40 to get it off! Now I have to figure out how to work with this "oil". It does smell amazing though.
