Not bad. Have to slow down only a smidge to get accuracy I am used to. Likely as I practice this will also change, as it already is as I type this. Case is very nice. Keyboard is nearly as heavy as the iPad itself, but feels very solid and well built, like it will last while carrying it for work in the field. Added keys are learnable for a typist used to using all fingers and a full size keyboard. Pairing was quick and easy. Exactly as per the video. Key presses are comfortable and solid. Auto off works. Just figured out that you can move magnetically connected keyboard forward towards you so that you can lean the iPad on it in such a was so you can see the power/caps lock indicators. Not necessary if you don't care to see those all the time. I can't wait to see how this works in the long run. So far, so good. Magnetic charging is full size USB. Doesn't plug into the iPad like I thought it might to charge. So, you will need to plug into your own wall USB charger or standard USB laptop to charge. Charge cord it proprietary, and very short, so I hope I don't loose it! If you try to use the unit while plugged in, any decent bump disconnects the magnetic connection for charging, so charge when not in use. Despite this, I still like this setup!

I received one on these last as a gift for Christmas and I have had no problems using it. About 1 month ago, the "b" key stopped working. Everything else worked fine. I contacted Ottertooth, because the keyboard/case had a one year warranty. After exchanging emails about the problem, they had me order the new version and they promptly refunded me the expense. They would have sent me a replacement directly, but they told me the fastest way to get the replacement was to purchase and get a refund. I used the gift order number from the original keyboard to initiate communication through amazon with Ottertooth. The interaction was prompt and effective and my new keyboard is working well.

I was initially very happy with the way this keyboard worked but found after a while that I can't get it to work! While it might be due to something I am doing, I do not find instructions and have not had the time to research that thoroughly. If the keyboard was easier to turn on and synch, I would absolutely love it.

Do not buy this product. The first one I bought, random keys stoped working after a few days. Giving them a second chance I returned it and the second one did the same but after a few months. It’s garbage

Beware the proprietary charging plug. I travel a lot and can't afford to rely on a charger that isn't readily replaceable.

Had for 6 months, Used maybe 20 times max. Keys in 2nd row from top no longer work. Also, without keyboard in place hard to keep iPad standing. If you’re weighing your options, I wouldn’t go with this one.
