Wow! The first impression is very fast delivery time and careful packaging. You know I was looking forward to this cookbook stand for my kitchen and it didn't disappoint. Upon opening the box it was exactly what I was looking for. I absolutely love the wood tone and its design is perfect for my simple and rustic kitchen space. It blends in well with my metal appliances and dark wood furniture. Matches my decor perfectly.It is being hung on the wall ready to use, that was a huge plus for me because sometimes I need the counter space for other things I'm making. It's a bit light but sturdy. It holds my hardback cookbooks open nicely. It's easy to rest a phone, iPad, book, sheet of paper, whatever, for reference and can be stored away easily by folding or hang up. This has made recipe reading in my kitchen and while I'm cooking so much easier! Now I forget about back, shoulder and neck pain every time I prepare new dishes for my family.I have been using this product for 1 week now and I am very satisfied with the appearance as well as the quality. I really got my money’s worth with it. I will order more as gifts for my mom and sister on special occasions. I'm sure they'll be pleased with it. Recommend it!

Well, where to start? We opened the box, and the metal bar near the bottom was detached and floating around in the box, which was an immediate shock for a product at this price point. Placed the bar back in, but it was still very wobbly. I could have glued it back, but this is just unacceptable for a new product at its price point. I understand that it could have been damaged in transit, but the fact that it arrived already broken tells me these stands are NOT built to last!VERY thin wood material used (I guess to cut back on shipping weight), and the kickstand on the back just sort of loosely slapped back and forth with a mind of its own when you pick it up. NO chain or block on the back to keep it from fully extending. Because of this, we always felt like the stand was leaning WAY too far back during the week we attempted to use it. No adjustability, just nearly flat use all the time.If you like the design and look of such a cookbook stand, I would NEVER recommend this one. Cheap, careless, and poorly made. Very disappointed... :(

I would say to note two things when purchasing this stand. One, if your cookbook is thick, it won't fit. Two, the stand on the back lays back very far.

This is awesome! This is perfect for the Magnolia cookbooks to display closed or open to a recipe. It has rubber on the bottom of the stand that keeps it stable. It looks great and functions perfectly!
