Baby Genius: Baby Animals Favorite Sing-A-Longs

This video is OK. It's entertaining for the little ones but I wish it had more "educational" aspects to it. For example, instead of just music with videos of animals, it would be awesome if they showed the animal making the animal noise that we all teach our kids. Like the elephant trumpeting, the lion roaring, the monkey chattering, etc. That would help my daughter at least connect the dots between what I tell her when reading books and what she sees in the video. Its hard to find videos like that.That being said, my 14 month old is pretty entertained by it. But she does like her other videos better that have more talking about the animals. Basically I think kids sometimes prefer the educational stuff over just music and video.

I first purchased this video when my 4 year old was about 2, and I was sick of Elmo videos. This video takes place at the San diego zoo and wild animal park. There are numerous animals highlighted in the movie, each with their own song telling a little about the animal. I love that the kids are learning something as they're enjoying the music and wonderful animal videos. The music is upbeat and not annoying. Wish we could find more like this!

Our grandson loves animals and is familiar with the songs accompanying this DVD of zoo animals. The words to famiiar children's tunes have been changed to teach facts about the animals. Great close-up filming done at San Diego Zoo and children love all the animals shown. It's a great way to review the animals seen after children have already visited their local zoos.

Bought this one and favorite songs. I already had nursery rhymes. If I had to rank them, nursery rhymes is the best, then favorite songs, and last is baby animals. This is the same songs, they just changed the words to apply to the animals.

All of the Baby Genius DVDs have been enjoyed by our grand daughter. Whenever she gets tired of playing with her other toys, we show her a Baby Genius video. Most of the time they will entertain her for the full 30 minutes. I would recommend any of the Baby Genius video and music products. We started out buying one and now have several in our day care library.

My kids loved it!

DVDs content is very good. I purchased used one and first song does not play as the disk is damaged. Wish I did not opt for used disk.

My son 8M is not interested in this movie. It’s very low quality.
