Small handle
Okay, so this peeler peels very well-but you must have small hands. They handle is very small and round-ish, so if your a man with large hands the peeler wants to rotate in your hand. I suppose if you have small hands it may not want to roll in your hand as much. I was looking for the perfect peeler, and this one may not be it. I think this peeler would be perfect if it had a larger handle so you could maintain leverage while peeling. Without the larger handle your hand gets tired like you're holding a tiny small pencil in your hand that's constantly trying to rotate as soon as it gets grip on the vegetable peel. That being said all of the other reviews are true. It is super sharp has a lot of weight to it, and the handle is ergonomic. However, as I previously said you need to have a firm grip like you're holding onto a chainsaw to prevent the peeler from twisting. My hand almost started cramping from trying to prevent it from rotating after peeling only one cucumber. I don't see this peeler as one that can be used with someone with larger hands for peeling a bunch of potatoes to make mashed potatoes. If you're peeling only one thing, and one thing only, you're good because your hand should be strong enough to make it through one vegetable. But maybe drink some water and stretch first to avoid cramping.

Waiting for it to perform as well as it looks...
I'm going to be very careful here because this has all the appearance of a very high quality tool. And maybe I'm not handling it as well as I could. What I do know is that it looks like a million bucks, has an ergonomic grip and nice shape and a sharp blade. What I also know after using it 3 times, so far on cucumbers which I eat daily, I'm not peeling quite as efficiently and snag free as I hoped. My two Zyliss peelers I've had for over a year and am more proficient with. Since I'll be using all three as they go through rotation in my dish washing cycles. I'll wait til I use it a few dozen more times - inevitable because we always grab what's clean and is handy - before adding to this review. I don't think you can go wrong with this peeler; I'm just not sure it's the best one in my kitchen drawer.

Good but not perfect
This peeler is incredibly well made and feels good in the hand. It is very sharp. Unfortunately the blade does not swivel very freely which slows down the peeling process.

I wanted this to be great
The handle is too short and the blade swivels and gets stuck, making it necessary to stop and free the blade up again. The blade is sharp.

Does not work as advertised
The peeler is much smaller than the image shown. It underperformed and the design as well as a dull blade made this a very disappointing purchase. The shape of the peeler along with a small blade length made peeling a sweet potato difficult as the blade could not clear the peel from the blades edge and caused it become clogged. The blade lacks a sharp edge and when used on a second type of vegetable a beet the same results the blade becomes clogged and will not cut the vegetables peel clean. I had to run rhe peeler under hot water repeatedly to remove pieces so I could continue to use. Very disappointed because reviews claim other than what I experienced.

Very nice peeler
Very nice peeler. I like the shape of the peeler. I have many different kind of peelers and I love this peeler the most. What I love most about it is the curved handle. Its has the perfect angle if you need to peel veggies like cucumber, eggplant or zucchini. The peeler itself is very sharp and the material feels high-end!

Cuts quite thick stripes
Solid peeler would be excellent but cuts to thick stripes - loosing a lot of carrots and potatoes :)
