Interesting little device.
I can't attest to the accuracy or reliability of it. But it does give a little peace of mind for the cost. Any law enforcement/ff/ems personal might want to consider grabbing it and sticking it on the backside of a badge or something. As highly unlikely as it is, if I ever am exposed to a significant dose of radiation at least I might know, and know approximately how much. The only real cons are it doesn't like the sun, and it does have a fairly limited working life. But it is quite inexpensive.

Expired
Mine arrived with the area that was supposed to be "yellow" the same color as the expired box ("service life ends"), just like many of you have experienced. I requested a return/refund. Very disappointed. Cool idea but what I received wasn't useful.

Itty bitty
Be advised that these are smaller in real life than on Amazon. My stickers were as described, only -mini-. The stickers are about 1.5 inches square.

Must have for people near nuclear plants, but usefulness is in doubt
It detects the levels which indicate significantly serious conditions. Before these conditions come, you are already informed by the news or similar source. The stickers are must have for people who works in the nuclear plants, are exposed in heavily suspected area, or who likes to keep monitoring any dangerous condition by radiation wise.I don't keep monitoring that kinds, thus it was just useless.

Doesn't work
Irradiated it with a directional Co-60 beam with a dose equivalent of 200 rads. The sticker was stuck to my wallet so I just placed the wallet at the target zone, walked behind a shield and opened the pig. Sent about 200 rads of equivalent radiation onto the target area. No percivable change in sticker color after 1 day after exposure (I gave it time to adjust). However, it appears that some of my credit cards in my wallet that were behind the sticker have been wipped. Since the machines can't read the magnetic strip even through the "Plastic Bag around the strip" trick.

What you know might hurt you, or SAVE you.
If you live near a nuclear power plant or military base, a personal RADSticker may tell you when its time to get the heck away (and fast!). Hopefully you will never need this, but if you do you'll be glad. The stickers are small enough to put on a drivers license, passport, car window or house window. A low cost simple prepper item!

Well????
I count on the reputation of this company, and some blind faith that these indeed work. Strange to give a 5 star before having used the product.. let's hope I don't have to change my review to a 1 star because the product didn't work as promised.Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station employee
