I think it would help if you had two people spreading it out on a flat surface instead of trying to do it independently. The holes are pretty big is a stretch my figs in the leaves grow right through the holes.

The material was easy to work with but definitely required some method to secure the netting. Some birds still managed to damage fruit although the instances of damage were fewer than prior to draping the netting. It could be improved by having smaller openings in the netting.

I love the way it was packed: rolled up inside of a bag made of white netting that easily expanded to remove the green netting. The closure was easy to open and when I re-packed my leftovers in the bag I had no problems with re-closing it.The netting itself is very well done, expands easily and stretches widely. I wrapped it over branches of Marion berries that are growing up the banister of my front staircase. It is full of ripening berries.In the past I lost many berries due to human and aviary thieves and I hope that this problem has been solved! :)

Growing up in the 80s I've wasted alot of money on foolishness. This net is trash, will not unfold with force once it is unfolded it is terrible for coverage, it rips on the smallest vine. Do not buy this if you care at all about your products.

The only problem the material was not six and half wide. It was closer to four feet wide at the most.

We were able to stretch it over our strawberry patch to keep the birds away. We used some garden stakes to keep it elevated over the top of the plants. We used rocks to hold the netting in place. It is doing a great job of keeping the birds out! It does not effect the plants at all. The sunlight reaches the plants the same way it normally would. I do recommend garden stakes to keep your plants from growing through the netting.

I AM USING THIS DOUBLED TO CATCH ALL THE SOFT MAPLE SEEDS IN SPRING, SO I DONT HAVE ALL THOSE LITTLE TREES TO PULL OUT AS I AM 84
