IMPORTANT TIP As first brought to our attention by our dear buyers, please, note that markings with the white pen take a moment to appear on certain fabrics, when the pen is new. The fade-in gets faster and eventually instant with use, as the ink gets more concentrated. This delay should not take longer than a couple of seconds at anytime. If it does take unreasonably long, please, contact OneSurfBay for immediate resolution. Additional note on use: the marked fabric does not need to be washed. Markings should fade completely when a little moisture is applied to the marked spot or if the marked spot is left out in the open for up to 48 hours, without wetting the fabric. Air humidity may affect timing and dry air produces better results. We thank all of our dear buyers for their support, as well as their feedbacks and tips for this new and exciting product. We have a lot of confidence in it and love seeing the many of satisfied users reach out and come back to us on . With your continued help and support, it will only get better. 3 useful colors: white, blue, and bright red. Use them for whatever color combination you are working with. Simply draw as you would with a chalk pencil. Wipe away with a damp cloth or sponge OR simply let the fabric sit in the open and the markings will evaporate within 48 hours (time is affected by humidity). Yes, the markings will disappear completely without a trace but try the pens on a small hidden spot first, if you are worried. Unlike chalk, these pens do not break or crumble or leave powdery residue on your hands, fabrics or your work space. Inhaling the powdery residue of chalk can pose problems for people with respiratory issues or with prolonged exposure. No such worried here but please, do not give to small children to avoid misuse, such as swallowing or inhaling the caps.

Finally!
I've used chalk for ages without even giving them a thought. I do heavy alterations so it's always been a mess. I've tried some chalk pens before and they are either crumbly after sharpening or they don't mark well at all.Decided to try again here and these look more like sharpies and mark very vividly so I was actually kind of worried at first BUT I love them already. The markings are neat and sharp but then I dip my finger in water and rub them right off every time. SO much better.I've had no issues with any material so far, even snow white silk/cotton fabrics and I love the color combo. If they are not coming off for you, spray the spot with a little clean water and just give them a little time to fade completely. My only other advice is to always cap them after each use. I left one laying around and it dried up. Will soak the tip in water for several minutes to see if that revives it. Works for sharpies.

3 different pens for 3 different purposes
Ok, so I had to use them for a bit to figure it out, but it's actually a good system. The white is a chalk suspended in a solution. Shake well before using. Good for dark smooth fabrics. A lasting line that can be rubbed off and washes out clean. The red is a disappearing ink. Good for temporary lines that fade after drying. The blue is a good long lasting line that washes out after you're done. I like this one for fitting and alterations because the line does not rub off.

White actually Works
This one help me a lot. I saw some customers do not like the white since it’s easily dried out. For some farbrics, the one takes a little bit while like 10 secs to show up the colour, so no worries. I used white on the purple fabric, and I thought the white was gone though that was the second day from arrival, but it eventually came up, and I made some mess on my fabric, so I need to wash before I wear the one.

The white doesn't work at all
Wish I could say differently but even after being sent a second white one it doesn't produce a line either.I really hoped they would work but it's back to the drawing board because I need a lone I can see. I shook them I waited for the line to show up...nothing! I don't know what kind of fabric they are testing them on but I need it to work on my quilting cotton and it did not!

Wish I could say good thngs but,,,,,
I purchased these markers about 4 months before I actually needed them keeping them capped and in the little plastic case they come in. Unfortunately, they were DRY. The white one is totally dry, the pink one still has a little marker left but it has gone from dark pink to very light pale, the blue still works but considering the first two colors I don't expect a long lasting experience with it either. I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

Work Great!
I've been using the Frixion erasable gel pens for a few years now to mark my quilts mainly because they are fine tipped and easy to use. I know they are not specifically for marking fabric and there can be issues with the marks coming back until you wash your quilts. I decided to order these pens because I wanted something that had a fine enough tip but was also specifically developed for marking fabrics. I used these this past weekend and I have been very happy with the results so far. They take a little more work to make the marks go away but when they are gone, they do not come back. I will order them again in the future.
