They're fluorescent tubes... they work...
I recently picked up some new fluorescent tube bulbs for the undercabinet lighting in my kitchen, and I'm pretty impressed with them so far.Installation was a total breeze. The bulbs were well-packaged, and it only took me a few minutes to pop out the old tubes and snap these new ones right into place.The best part? No annoying humming or flickering like those old fluorescent fixtures sometimes had.These give off a nice, steady light that's easy on the eyes. The cool white light is perfect for food prep and really lights up the whole work area evenly.I don't expect to change them out again anytime soon. The packaging says they should last around 20,000 hours. I'd definitely recommend giving some new fluorescent tubes a try if your undercabinet lighting needs an upgrade and you don't want to make the jump to LED lighting or replace light fixtures.
