Oh my goodness, I love this thing! I'm addicted to eating crushed ice and this makes the best ice ever. I place my crusher on a dish towel to absorb water. Even though everything is enclosed and not open like so many other brands, there is still a residual amount of water in the form of slushed ice that escapes. Not too much, though, due to the design of this machine. So simple to use, just add ice to the good-sized top opening and press. Wow! Loads of crushed ice in the neatest pull out tray. So fast and with very little effort, this unit turns turns regular cubes, bullets, or wedges into a slushy-style ice that is marvelously chewable. A splash of your fav fruit juice and you have a healthy snow-cone. You can also use this ice in your go-to summer cocktail. Toss in a shaker and add ingredients... voila! A delicious summertime drink to sip as you lounge around the pool. I have to say that this is my new favorite appliance for summer.

Very shaved...so I think the ice would work for a snow cone. I bought this for my mom since she just came out of the hospital and needed some small ice chips vs ice cubes. The plus side is that it shreds 6 ice cubes really fast. I just wish the result was ice chips that were a little larger. I don't think I'll return this but I'll be on the lookout for something a little better.

Item appeared new and packaged well. I crushed 2 loads of ice on day one, next usage one load half way in the turning bowl slowed down but motor was still working. It was like motor spinning but not connected to bowl. When it worked the ice was great. As for two settings they both cut ice same way. Not well made, very disappointed. Would not recommend.

When I first received it I loved it. I put the ice cubes in there and it shaved perfectly. no beating on the ice first that's what I loved. now a week ago it just stopped working. it wont turn to crush the ice. even if I put little pieces inside it still gets stuck. a waste of my money because now I have to go out and find one that actually works and doesn't break down after a couple of uses. I had one before this that I have had for 2 years but you have to crush the ice down first and that's what I didn't like. I guess Ill go back to beating the crap out of my ice before it shaves. not worth the purchase. very disappointed.

it is a great item but after three uses it quit they dont tell you in the book but there is a fuse inside the unit that can go out you have to take all the screws on the bottom off to access it.

Reduces ice cubes to shaved ice in seconds flat. Very impressive. HOWEVER, you're supposed to be able to take out the fan/turntable for cleaning. Doesn't come out. My husband and I both tried to get it out with no luck. Since it can't come out, the device can't be properly cleaned.

My machine arrived this morning and of course I couldn't wait to use it lol. Wow it was so easy to use and shaved the ice in a few seconds. my great nephew is gonna flip when he can help me make snow cones and slush this summer. Im excited too I think I will make frozen juice ice cubes like apple juice and pineapple to make them a little more healthy.I am also going to freeze some chicken broth and make ices for the dogs when its hot.....my mind is just swirling with ideas for all the things I can make with this machine.
