Good Processor But..........
See if you are upgrading with r3 or blow so this would be great option but if you are thinking to upgrade with r5 3600 or something so wait le me tell you this is an zen3 processor so there is no benefit upgrade with other options because this processor is cheapest 6c 12t processor in market so if you are purchasing r3 or i3 so you can go with this rather than i3 or r3 you will get slightly high performance in gaming and in multi tasking you will get almost 2x performance boost like if you want to edit videos and edit photos and you are in a tight budget so you can chose this one rather than i3 or r3 so that's pretty much it i hope this will help you to find out : )

Worth for the price I got it for
Some online tech enthusiasts have mentioned this to be AMD's worst offering. But on a budget build? It's absolutely wonderful. During the sale, I got this for 10k. For 10k, with 6 cores 12 threads and a 4.1 ghz boost clock? Worth it. The 3600 is better in terms of benches but it came at an extra 2k which was beyond my budget. So this was appropriately priced. My Budget PC Build:Rtx 2060Amd ryzen 450016gb ram in dual channel (8*2)1tb ssdGame Benches:Cyberpunk 2077 @high preset, high crowd density, dlss set to quality, 1080p - 70-80 fpsCSGO @medium, 1280*960 - 300 fps average in competiveRainbow Six Siege @medium, 1080p - 175 fpsDota 2 @ultra, 1080p, - 108 fpsPlease remember both siege and csgo are cpu intensive games. This is also pretty good for blender, but of course compared to the 5000 series i don't think it's the ideal performer. Overall a standard budget cpu worth a compliment

Perfect for day to day tasks
If you have an old ryzen chip and an old A320 motherboard laying around then it's a good product for making a budget upgrade. 6 cores with 12 threads are great for gaming too.

A Budget CPU AMD Ryzen 5 4500
In the realm of processors, the AMD 4000 Series Ryzen 5 4500 doesn't steal the thunder from the 3600 or 5600, but hear me out. Bagging this chip below 8k (I snagged it at 7.5k) makes it a budget hero. Yes, it's on zen2 and 3.0 x16, a slight downside, but the 6 cores and 12 threads make it shine for productivity. Not a top-tier choice, but for those on a strict budget or upgrading from the 2200g or 2400g, this CPU offers significant value. If you're eyeing your first PC build, lean towards the latest gen, but if costs matter, this upgrade is worth considering.

I mean it works
It does whats it supposed to be.It has 6 cores 12 threads which makes it very viable for modern gaming, and it does have better performance than a 3600 in gaming, for a budget cpu this is really great if this is the only option that fits in your amd cpu budget.

not bad could be better
I know the R5 3600 is better than this for only 500rs more but i choose it bcuz it was recent . Yup despite the flaws it's a great cpu underneath. I abled to overclock it to 4.4Ghz no sweat with a aftermarket cooler ofc . Stable and reliable. If u want a cpu for gaming get 3600 else u can buy 4500 if u don't have extra 2-2.5K for 5500 . People have all kind of budgets there's no shame in that . I used a athlon 200ge for a long time and this is going to last me for atleast 5-6yrs minimum. U also don't need a aftermarket cooler if u don't do oc. Don't oc with a cheap mobo / factory cooler . U can blow up the vrms and power delivery of ur mobo. Else u r good to go. It's not a big heat monster either. One thing that was wierd that one of the pins were bent of this cpu out of the box. It was wierd since it was completely sealed. I just bent it back to right place without a big issue since i have don't that multiple times but yes that was only issue i faced so far
