OAKI Kids Waterproof Rubber Rain Boots with Easy-On Handles

Cute print pattern/color, horrible material quality. Purchased in late August 2017, had to replace with new rainboots by November 2017. I couldn't understand why my 3-year old was coming home from preschool with wet socks until I inspected her required school rainboots for outside play. Rubber material is cracking on the shaft, even where rubber material is doubled up on the back seam the material cracked. I understand products have a lifecycle but this is unacceptable. I regularly buy new rainboots every 6 months as feet grow, not because the product didn't perform. This was the first. First time purchasing from this brand, will not do it again.

Runs big. Soles are pretty stiff, not very flexible at all. I don’t understand how shoe designers forget that our human feet naturally bend when we walk... Cute pattern and colors. Photo is for size comparison of the size 4 Toddler boot next to a size 5/6 Speedo brand water shoe (which are a little big on my daughter)! Keeping them cuz they’re cute and will probably fit my daughter in a few months or so, but dissapointed because I bought them to fit her now, in her current size 4, and they don’t seem to sell any smaller size than that.

These boots are adorable and my daughter loved them! However, the rubber handles on the sides are already starting to tear. She has worn them a total of 3 times. They are not tight. She is in first grade, so she is fully capable of sliding her feet into a rain boot without much force. I'm totally disappointed in the quality of these boots. I would not buy them again. I would expect this sort of thing after a full season of use.

Worst boots I have ever purchased! Within a month my 7 yr old was complaining of wet feet. I couldn't believe it until I saw the numerous splits/cracks that were on both uppers of the boots. The back seam on one boot is completely blown out. I tried emailing Oaki, TWICE, with zero response. But they did snatch my email address and immediately begsn sending me DAILY spam/advertising. Amazon won't help me because Oaki is the seller and maker. I have purchased much less expensive boots for both of my kids and they don't have a single hole, scratch, leak even after 2 years. Terrible product and worse customer service. DO NOT BUY!!!

I intentionally purchased size 3 youth for my child who wears a 2.5/3 shoe. It is a perfect fit there is not much room for growth. It will fit for this season and no more. It was exactly what I was looking for. A good value for your money spent. The river is a little bit soft as in pliable not super firm, if that’s what you’re looking for. I prefer a little bit stronger shaft on the boot so it holds its form, especially when kids are wearing the boots since they’re so rough on them. However this will be just fine it’s not too soft.

My 2 year old LOVES these rain boots! She wears them almost everywhere we go. I haven't noticed any issue with her walking or running in these, and they stay on really well. They seem to fit true to size. My daughter is a size 7, and I bought a size 7. They give a little room to grow, but not so much that they're falling off.

to put it in perspective, due to small feet, 95pct of the time I wear children's shoes. have worn these several times when it rained and streets became like little creeks to cross. works nicely to keep feet dry. don't know how long or how well the cloth lining will last as others have said it comes loose, will see. would have liked more support for the sole, feels not very sturdy but it is what it is, rain boots not meant for walking in city pavement. should last a long time with my limited use. would have liked it in the correct size 3 but 4 was all that was available in a style that wasn't so kid flashy at the time of purchase.

Great boot! Holding up nicely now for about a year with my active boy. Easy on and off! Stay looking clean somehow too. My little guy loves them and seems to prefer them to other shoes or boots. We have a different pattern and bought these for my friends daughter as a gift and got a lot of rave reviews.My only complaint is that if your little one manages to get them wet inside they do take a LONG time to dry on the inside so I wish the lining was more of a quick dry material. We use rain pants that cinch over and I wipe down the outside of the boots and try not to get the insides wet while washing otherwise they take a few days to dry out inside ... something to think about when purchasing but we would prob still buy another boot! They are great for puddle jumping and super cute styles.

Again these were too big for child concerned, She loved the wellies, hence the 5 stars, but shame about the sizing. So if you want them "to grow" into them this is fine, if you want to use them same day, be a bit careful of the sizing.
