which is actually pretty loud, and that's with the meter place unnaturally ...
Max measured volume on radio shack sound level meter is 80 dB, which is actually pretty loud, and that's with the meter place unnaturally deep within the headphones. As far as I can tell, kids like their volumes lower than adults, so I'd actually support even a lower maximum volume for kid phones. Audio fidelity is not extreme, but there's adequate bass to watch a movie with... I would confess to having owned worse headphones... I don't think my daughter will notice. On the other hand, I won't be using these to preserve my own hearing playing VST pianos from a midi keyboard... I wouldn't recommend using any headphones to overcome airplane noise unless they're noise cancelling... Airplanes are pretty loud, and using higher volumes from headphones to overcome ambient airplane noise wouldn't be a good idea... Think noise cancelling... These fit my 6 year old daughter and can be adjusted to fit me at least reasonably.

Works
Works as advertised, however if you plan on using an audio splitter so you can listen in, it doesn't work well. The kid can bring the audio wayy up and save their ears, but yours will be blasted out.

Very good sound, comfortable!
I bought these for my two-year-old and they fit his head perfect. The volume does not go very loud but it's good for a small child. He seems very comforted in them and is not continuously trying to reposition them like other ones we've tried in the past.

Great earphones for kids
These are well made and guaranteed for a year! Now our grandson can use his Kindle for games or videos without annoying the adults. Except for our kitten trying to bite the wire, we have experienced no issues. Our grandson is six, and he says these are comfortable to use. He is happy to have them and highly recommends them.

Stopped working
I'm so disappointed in these headsets. We loved them when we first got them then after two months they just stopped working completely. It was too late to return them so I tossed them out and bought another set from a discount store. I learned the hard way not to spend too much on headsets. Discount stores do sell kids headphones that protect ears.

Great price, but too small for my 5 year old
We purchased 2 pairs of these earphones for our car's DVD player. My son wore them for about 20 minutes then started complaining that they hurt his ears. They do the job, but he is constantly having to move them around and adjust them. My son is 5. The band around the top of his head seems to be too big, but the foam part that goes around his ears is too small. My 14 year old cannot wear them for the same reason. The foam part that covers her ears seems too small and uncomfortable. They do seem very sturdy though (which is needed when they get thrown around in a car) and they were a great price.

Good Headphones at a Great price.
We bought my son two pairs of Headphones. One for school and one for Home. So far he says they are very clear and at 6 years old the size of the headphones are perfect.I think it’s great that the Company reached out to us directly for feedback on their product and to remind us of the warranty for one year.

Your happiness depends on the device it is connected to.
I bought this so that a five year old could listen to his kindle on longer cars rides without disturbing the rest of the passengers. Like many reviewers it's really a bit too quite. I'd call it bely useable a car ride. I think I can explain why. I really doubt that these headphones CLIP audio output at the advertised max. What do I mean by clip? I mean (for example) if your device would want to be twice as loud as is safe for long term hearing, the sound in headphone would get louder and louder as you adjust the volume from silent to maximum in the kindle until it it reached the half way mark, and then as you increased the volume on the kindle the volume your child hears would remain constant. For me, it is as if this headphone merely attenuates -- like an extra resistance that is in line; and the attenuation reaches the upper safe volume limit for hearing, ONLY if your device can drive the headphones at the maximum power rating the connector is rated for. If you have a device that does not drive to maximum rated power, like I suspect, my child's kindle fire, the headphones will be not be loud enough to be of practical use.
