We have an F150 Ford focus that was stuck in four-wheel-driveand this item was very expensive. We found it on here for a great price. My husband installed it within two minutes and we haven’t had a problem since.

Low quality internal fit
**Update- Seller reached out and offered a refund. I appreciate the customer service and added 2 stars.I bought this as a replacement for my 2014 F150 4x4 with electronic rear locker. My OEM diff lock pull function was broken, and the switch completely broke apart. I got this next day and initial appearance was good. But the knob turn was much less smooth than oem. The pull for diff lock was very hard to engage. When I turned the truck on, I found the diff lock will engage if I only slightly pull the knob. The internal tolerances are wrong allowing unintended diff lock operation. I am keeping it so that I can still use my truck but I am continuing to search for a much better replacement. Amazing to be able to get a replacement so fast but overall I am disappointed.

Exact fit
Had the issue many others had with diff randomly locking and have to hold the button to let it fix itself. Asked the deal while I was in for a recall to see what the issue was. Found out these switches go bad after a while. Dealer wanted a ridiculous amount of money to fix it and ended up finding this. Direct replacement for the factory one. Found a couple videos online on how to do it without taking the dash apart which means breaking the old one (14 FX4) and had the new one in probably no less than 5 minutes. Fixed my issue of the diff lock for a fraction of the cost. If you have that same issue, get this part instead and save your money.

Easy fit if you pull off old
When replacing pull hard on the differential knob. Which will break off allow allowing you to reach the tabs with needle nose, pliers, and avoid having to pull the dash apart.
