Might be good as a point to point in a pair… not a good outdoor AP
Tried to put this in a window to extend wifi outside, to talk to sensors in car in parking lot. No dice. Couldn’t reliably get a signal from 10 feet away.I think these excel when it’s two of the units talking to each other, but as a standalone AP, not a good outdoor unit.Incidentally, setup as an ap, on an existing network, is a pain, requiring setting a computer to static ip.It is cheap, and it did seem to work fine as an AP inside the room, so, it may have some use as an AP, just didn’t work for me.

Great product, fair price
Have been using these for quite some time now and have had very good results. Have a three point bridge, longest one about 1/4 mile and out of line of sight but still has good enough connection to streem security camera footage. Highly recommend!

It's been running rock-solid for about 8 months without a reboot.
Im using this as a wireless bridge to extend my network's signal to our shop building. Im using a single unit, aimed at my primary router at a distance of about 75 yards. The Router is inside of the house, behind a stucco exterior, and this unit is inside of the shop pointed out of a window, with minimal vegitation between the two. Signal quality is excellent and I have little doubt I could double this range (or more) with little loss of signal quality in this configuration.

ETHERNET PORT IS TRASH
ETHERNET PORT IS TRASH, don't be scammed by the decent WIRELESS speeds (mine claimed 433mbps) the ethernet port is stuck to 100mbps full or half duplex, so if you're expecting to bring in speeds faster than this you'll be disappointed. My entire setup was as follow: T-mobile home internet connected to an external antenna (pulls in roughly 450mbps to a wireless connection)>ethernet to poe injector>this device>client device in the house about 200 ft away>router to broadcast wifi within the house. From this device all the way to the end user the speeds never went above 100mbps however, wireless to the gateway and ethernet to a pc gave me the full 450 mbps, the problem is in the ethernet ports of this device. Universal bridge mode is an option but the 50% reduction is a thing, and that mode is more error prone which leads to dropped packets or "lag spikes".
