Follow their instructions and get great results
Watch the manufacturer's DYC videos on YouTube, follow the directions to a tee, and you also can get excited results. I used one whole can per wheel on my trailer project. Color and sheen looks very even. About as close to perfect as you can ask for from a rattle can.

Worked Great
Was as simple as following the directions. DYC has a YouTube channel where they demo it. So far it's been durable & survived the car wash. Looks good too.

Perfect for painting badges for your car!
I saw online how people were blacking out their vehicle logos and badging on their autos and decided to give it a try...I own a Polar White AMG and the chrome badging is difficult to see against a brilliant white background. So I wanted a little more contrast...I purchased the vehicle with the "Night package" and all the chrome is blacked out...except for the badging...really? So I researched purchasing black badges...the costs started adding up fast...over $150 for 4 blacked out badges...YIKES! So after watching some videos on how people were using this as a viable replacement for swapping out badges, I decided to give it a try...and the results are amazing...the badging now POPS and it gives the vehicle a more aggressive look...fitting for performance vehicle that it is! And application is super easy. Just make sure to watch the online videos first and follow the instructions...that first coat is super important...don't rush it! And the subsequent coats dry quickly...but there's still some waiting you'll be doing. But for me, the part that took the longest was masking the surrounding area...I wanted to make sure that I didn't have too much overspray...and now the AMG has the look I was going for! I'm going to do my Jeep Overland next...that should make that pop as well!

Easy to Use.
Super easy to use and the results have lasted a year on my Broncos beauty rings through more than a dozen washes.

Just buy a can of plasti-dip instead
$30 for this stuff? Seriously? Save yourself the time and hassle and just go buy a normal can of Plasti-Dip for $8. This stuff is a waste of time and effort.I’ve followed Fonzi for almost 10 years. His videos taught me the ins and outs of plasti-dip. I’ve used the OG rattle cans plenty of times to great results. It came time to black out my badges, and I’ve been out of this world for a while, so I haven’t stayed upon new products. I saw this and figured, if it’s DipYourCar brand, it must be quality. Boy was I wrong. It’s expensive, but again, must be quality, right?I used half the can on two bow tie emblems and it still wasn’t thick enough to peel properly. The can recommends dusting on at first. Which is necessary otherwise it just runs straight off. It’s way too thin. Even after you do a few dustcoats. You still need at least 8 more coats before you get full coverage. And even that wasn’t enough when I tried to peel. Just peeled off the target area.Performs nothing like the traditional Plasti-Dip we all know and love. I wasted 2 hours of my time and $30 with badges I’ll just have to re-do now.And honestly? The “gloss” finish isn’t any different than a standard matte like finish Plasti-dip. Nowhere near as advertised.Complete waste of money.

Great product
Used this to black out chrome/silver parts on my SL550. Great results and not as permanent or expensive as having them painted.
