It gives you information on one the most Battle Worthy airplanes to fly in the sky.
What I like is that its right to the point about the different systems in the P-51 Mustang. Its fascinating reading so that if you were lucky enough to find one in one piece in need of rebuilding you have a good chance of doing it as all of the systems are discussed.

Having been fascinated with WWII Warbirds, and the P-51 in particular since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, being able to read the operations manual for this aircraft is simply amazing. I may not ever put my feet on the rudder pedals of the real thing, or throw the stick hard over to barrel roll at altitude, wearing an actual Mustang on my back, but this is as close as it gets for those of us who do not have millions of dollars to park one in a hangar, bearing our name on the title.

the "4" is just for the poor paper quality
They COULD have used better paper than kitchen paper towel stock, but that's what amateurs use when trying to save a few cents on printing. Hey, I would have paid another .50c to get it on good paper with a good reproduction quality.With that aside, the content of the book is fabulous. It takes you back to 1945 when it was published, and makes you feel like you're in a WW2 classroom about ready to jump from a T6 into the P51. It's just exciting. You'll like it.

Very nice quality book, I highly recommend.
I purchased this for my husband for a Christmas present, he absolutely loves the P-51 Mustang. I have helped him study for his Sport Pilot license, so, I have gotten pretty familiar with flying, charts, etc, (I am by NO means an expert). I looked through this book when I received it yesterday, and I am so excited to see his reaction on Christmas morning, it is a beautiful book, it is very clear, not blurry, and is a fantastic read for someone who is interested in the airplane. I am so happy that I bought it. It came very well packaged, and right on time, thanks to Amazon Prime. I highly recommend this to anyone who has an interest in this plane or in older aircraft in general.

P-51 Flight Manual
This is a reprint of the revised WWII flight manual. The reproduction is very good and it's a nicely made, quality book. The manual itself is great reading. Speaking as a pilot, I wish every POH were as well written as this one is. Whatever, if you're interested in the P-51 or simply in the ambience of WWII Army Air Corps flying, you will probably like this book.

Historical document - excellent read for the geek in you
It's a photocopy of the original manual. 100% legible. What more could one expect? Complete, of course, with all the circles and arrows and a paragraph explaining what each one was all about.
