Digital Voice Recorder, 8GB Sound Audio Recorder Dictaphone for Meetings, Lectures, Voice Activated, Rechargeable, Metal Casing

This is a monumental piece of junk. It stopped working within a month from purchase. The device seems to record but when trying to play it says "no files". Connecting to a computer via a USB showed, initially, a few files, which I could play. Within a couple of weeks connecting the USB stopped having any effect. The drive would not show up in Explorer / Finder (Windows / Mac, respectively). Charging seems to be a never ending process, there was no "charge completed", or anything like that. The manual is written in a very poor English, with unclear explanations (for example, the manual keeps mentioning different modes, which are not explained how they get activated and what are there for). I would have returned it, but by the time I realized what a mess this is, it was too late. Stay away from this junk.

The features are terrible! Not easy and it's slow to activate and use, plus no volume control. Mic pick up is awesome though.UPDATE: From 2 stars to 1 :(Don't think I'll ever get acknowledged by a real person, but I just sent this to the world of Amazon.-"My recorder just stopped working and I missed the return window by 2 weeks apparently. I lost priceless and irreplaceable recordings and it is now useless to me as it won't do anything except turn on and go through the modes.I've had this for a little over a month and then it broke. I treat it with care so it wasn't because of me. Hoping seller makes it right and works with me"Annnnnd since it is passed the return window there is no way to contact the seller anymore, it seems.Boooooooo. So bummed!!! Wish I had recorded my recordings!*Update: They refunded me promptly and for that I changed it back to 2 stars. Overall, don't waste your time or money. I lost information that I can never replace. Terribly disappointed to have relied on this product for such a big responsibility.

Works great. Can hear the instructor from rows away. If the class is quite I can even hear the typing on the key board. Size is very compact to. Just make sure you read the directions before the first use. The only problem is there is a few second delay when you start the recording so make sure you start recording early and I still can't seem to figure out how to turn the volume up and down when listening.

Super small and light weight. I love this small recorder. Use for college note taking and more. Clear sound and easy to use.

Bought this to record my nursing lectures. Records at a great quality. Loud & clear. Small & compact. Plenty of memory space. Comes with headphones & USB. Worth the price!

Very small and you need to press to many buttons to use the functions that I bought it for.... voice recording. I'm not sure why someone would need an MP3 player on a voice recorder. It did work well if you don't mind the things that I mentioned.

This is really difficult to figure out how to use and the manual is not really written in words but symbols. I'm usually good at figuring this out but this little recorder just doesn't make sense.

This is close to being a 5 star. What I liked: small, good shape, nice LCD, nice microphones, good audio, convenient USB. What I didn't like: Takes a second before it is recording, always started in music mode instead of dictation, controls were not intuitive to the point that I will never throw away the instructions.
