This tool was super helpful. Nailed it for the project purposes I bought it for. But then its also come in handy numerous times sense just being a handy tool to have. Whether its to actually brand or to just hold something else you are working on.

Works great for small projects on sheet metal.

The tool works well, but the design of the lock to keep it in closed position is poor. The lock lever bears against one of the sides of a hex head bolt which connects the handle to the jaw. If the bolt rotates even slightly as the tool is used the lock will not engage until the bolt is rotated slightly. This requires using pliers to rotate it, and this happens almost every time I use it.
