Perfect Lap Desk for Serious Gaming!
The LAPGEAR Extra Large Adjustable Lap Desk with Gel Wrist Rest has completely transformed my gaming setup. My Alienware 18" Area-51 Gaming Laptop and gaming mouse fit beautifully on the spacious surface. The gel wrist rest is a thoughtful touch that adds comfort during long gaming sessions.I primarily use this lap desk while gaming from my recliner, and it's been a game-changer—literally. The desk is solid, well-made, and incredibly supportive, keeping everything stable and comfortable. The adjustable angle is a bonus, allowing me to find the perfect position whether I'm grinding through a campaign or just browsing. If you're looking for a durable, comfortable, and spacious lap desk, especially for larger laptops, I highly recommend this one. It’s a fantastic investment for both casual and hardcore gamers alike!

Great Tool for laptop or books!
I started a bible study plan this year and sit on my couch in the morning to read. I was using a pillow to support the bible and it was cumbersome so I ordered the LAPGEAR Home Office Lap Desk with Device Ledge, Mouse Pad, and Phone Holder . It was great but I still needed to put a pillow under the bible to tilt it when I was sitting with my legs on the ottoman. So i looked again and low and behold there was this beauty!! LAPGEAR Extra Large Adjustable Lap Desk with Gel Wrist Rest, Mouse Pad, Phone Holder, Device Ledge, and Booster Cushion. Winner!!! I the Booster Cushion is perfect. It has magnetic attachment to raise and lower and it very easy to switch from tilted to flat. The Gel Wrist rest is a nice bonus! This will make the rest of my bible study and anything else I need to do much easier. In fact it has made typing this review a breeze *insert smiley face*

Best lap desk I've ever used
I actually bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, but when I got it I loved it so much I had to keep it. I offered to get him another one, but he said he probably wouldn't use a lap desk anyway. So, win win!It has a mouse pad that's a nice size, you can put your phone into the little slot above it, and the surface isn't overly slippery, and it has a stop at the bottom, so a laptop, or book won't slide off. I also love the extra detail on the underside of being able to flip one of the pads over to make it more of an angle. Just a great product overall.

Effective as a lap desk
Lapgear generally makes good products and I have bought several over the years. This particular lap desk is sturdy, well-made and as described. I purchased the size to accommodate a 17" laptop and a mouse, so the desk is on the larger size and correspondingly not as lightweight as a smaller model. The memory foam on the bottom (the lap side) is a good compromise between comfort and firmness. I have tried using it 'flat' and also with the enter memory foam section folded out to create more tilt, and I think I prefer it flat. But much depends on the individual user as to which is more comfortable. The mouse pad tray area has a rim around it which prevents the mouse from sliding off and has a permanently attached wrist rest. Frankly, I wish the latter were a little softer (squishier) and not quite so tall. But it may just take a little more getting used to.

Functional lapdesk
I ordered this item to allow me to use my wireless keyboard and mouse when my laptop is connected to the projector. This of course would permit me to recline in my chair or other seating location without the need to have my laptop in front of me.The construction of the desk is great and looks amazing. A nice mouse pad with wrist rest and a slot to hold your cellphone. The area to the left side is for your laptop and there is a small raised edge at the bottom to keep your laptop from falling off.The underneath is padded, with one of the sections able to fold out and magnetically connect to another to create an angled surface. When seated upright in a chair, this inclined surface only brings the surface to approximately level on your lap.As I've not yet used my laptop on it, the following is just a commentary based on keyboard and mouse use with it. The mouse pad portion is sized appropriately and comfortable to use. The keyboard (laptop side) could be a bit larger on the width side, as aligning correctly with the keyboard centered in front of you makes the desk lopsided and using the mouse unbalances it.This is not the fault of the product, but an observation and possible suggestion for future updates to the product. If I had the weight of the laptop on it, the majority of the weight would then be centered over my lap and not cause an unbalance. If you use the product as intended, it is a 5 star item.

Very comfortable lap desk.
But one of these for myself, my husband, my grandkids and as a gift for a friend. Great surface, a slot for your phone, a mouse pad and very well-made.

Works well for a full size keyboard
I was fairly cautious before buying a lap desk. I am a gamer, and I use a wireless Razor keyboard for the Xbox-X (and sometimes I haul my PC over to the TV). I was concerned about size. This keyboard is about 15 to 15.5 inches across and it’s comfortable to use. I’m emphasizing this because a lot of the photos show devices that are already small to start with. I ‘could/can’ just set the keyboard on my lap, but this is not only more comfortable, it’s steady. Being raised off my lap and at a slight slant makes a big difference too. That keyboard has a retractable mouse pad, but compared to the one built into the lap desk, the retractable one is awkward junk. My wireless mouse works great with the mouse pad surface (it’s good quality pad as these things go). The desk is very, very sturdy, and the surface is hard and smooth enough to write on. It might feel a little heavy to some (not me), but I don’t think anyone would have difficulty using it. It’s “weighty.” The cushions underneath are comfortable. I recommend it.
