Very low cost for quality level.

This saw cuts very straight
This was my first time using a dovetail (tenon) saw. I was able to quickly cut a dead straight line through quarter inch thick red oak even though I was crosscutting. Before you use it you have to remove the clear coat which is a pain. I ended up using trichloroethane (leather cleaning solvent) when the Goo Gone didn't work. The brass back is roughly finished so I used three grits of sand paper and then Brasso to polish it up. It looks nice now. The handle isn't a work of art but it's nice wood and since I have small hands I can get all four fingers into it comfortably. I had a bit of a hard time getting the saw started but once I did, the saw cut quickly and straight. I'm going to use the saw for cutting dovetails when I make some little boxes.
