I just received this small nice radio set. So, the first impression just out of the box is a quality of package, everything wrapped in a plastic, foam separated and protected from damages of shipping, that is a plus to manufacturer. Second, not least, is a sound quality. Tuned up to WBGO local jazz station that was never received properly with other radios. This time it's just perfected. Enjoying everything about this product: style and design, simple but easy to understand and operate, sound quality with an option of frequencies regulations that is definitely a step up in that products range. Speaker is large and clear with big intensive sound. Road ready and fit everywhere: at home, in the office or just hanging outdoors.

I love this radio! I like a basic radio, no bells and whistles. Just quality, sound, and the ability to get a variety of stations. This radio fits the bill. First, it is very easy to operate. It has a large knob so you can tune to all your favorite stations. It is easy to turn on and off and switch from AM to FM. Unlike some radios that only get FM channels and few AM, this gets a large amount of both. I do live near a large city, so that may help in being able to tune it a variety of channels, but I can pull in AM stations from far away. It has a high/low knob for additional quality of sound. It has a earphone jack. Best of all, it runs on AC power OR batteries so you can carry it around with you without having to be near an electrical outlet. The radio takes four D size batteries. It has a very large speaker so the quality of sound is good. There is a handle for easy carrying and an antenna and swirls all around for better reception. For the size and price of this radio, this is a really good deal and one of the best radios that I have owned in this price range. Very highly recommended.

I ordered this radio to listen to my favorite football team on WHO radio. It was very hard to tune in WHO even though it is a 50,000 watt station and I am in the same town as the station. When I found it I turned the volume all the way up but I could barely hear it! Very disappointed!

It is an easy radio to operate and can run on battery or plugged in. My only complaint is the quality of the sound. It’s hard to tune in clearly.

These replaced an old radio that I use in my garden. Good sound quality, lightweight and great reception. I feel this was great value for the price and would recommend. Easy to use for seniors and kids too.
