Whats the Warranty on this product? We were using it on my sons Laptop and it worked great since we got it.. Tonight it finally died. I tested on another laptop and confirmed it is indeed Dead. Is there a return policy? I think via Amazon return Policy is no longer but whats the policy from the manufacturer?

I'm giving this three stars even though I got absolutely zero use out of it. I'm sure it's a fine hunk of plastic, but I can't use it. I needed an active adapter and didn't catch the "This is not a bi-directional adapter" message on the product page. Note to seller: Use the phrase "passive" in your product listing, heck, put it in the title. You're going to end-up selling this to people who think it doesn't work. I think you'd rather people know what they're buying, right?If you're reading this and don't want to take the gamble, just buy a Cable Matters adapter - the ones listed on Amazon all seem to be active. I don't even know why people would sell a passive display port to HDMI adapter.
