Installs perfectly. I screwed the base in and then the antenna and Bob's- Your-Uncle! All in less than 5 minutes. This antenna picks up stations as good as my former retractable antenna.

My old antenna had started breaking down from the Texas sunshine and I wanted to replace it. This one looked nice on the Amazon site and was a good price. It said it was universal and when I got it, it had 11 different fittings to attach it to my car. Took a few trial runs but got it on the third or fourth try and it mounted well. Turned on the radio and the sound was great. Exactly what I wanted!

Just not completely satisficed with it, liked my rubber one better, this doesn't seem to get the best reception

I’ve purchased the Mega Racer 5” Carbon fiber polished antenna to replace my 36” factory installed radio antenna on my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic truck.Installation: Installation is not difficult. If you have skills in visually differentiating thread size and count. If not you will need to have extra tools, not provided, to determine the diameter and thread size and count of your antenna coupler on your truck before you can pick one from the many they provide with the antenna. You will also need to be careful where you hold the antenna while screwing the post adapter into the antenna and the antenna into the trunk antenna coupler. If you hold it too high you will unscrew the parts of the antenna from the others. No for the novice/beginner car person, but no need to have a mechanic perform the installation.Sound Quality: The Sound quality is horrible on this antenna compared to any other aftermarket short antenna I’ve purchased. Every station had static and stations I could receive with a weak signal with my factory provided antenna were nothing but static on this antenna. Also, I got better sound quality from holding the antenna than when I wasn’t. I’m thinking most of my issues may be with the fact my antenna mount is on the front passenger side of my truck and may receive interference from the metal cab and hood. However, this would not be the case if I was driving, during the driving test the receive signal got worse and less reliable.Value: This antenna was not worth the money I spent, and I was more than happy to return it to the manufacturer. If you are looking to purchase this antenna for you Ram 1500 Classic truck, I recommend you keep looking. This antenna may work for cars/trucks with antennas mounted on the roof of the cab, but not for mounts any other place on the vehicle.

Just got it and they have different sizes to screw on to vehicle. After tighten our trucks radio turned on with crisp signal. Great small antenna for the price

My Saturn Astra 2008's antenna finally bit the dust due to outdoor sun exposure. This was my replacement and I was hopeful it would be just like what came with my car originally in quality.First off it comes with a bag of about ten pieces of metal to screw into the antenna and then screw into the source. So you're going to spend a bit of time trying to figure out which one fits. And... it makes me sad because it's kind of wasteful, I have a baggy now of heavy screw thingabobs that I have no use for.It works for local channels, but if you want something that's a little outside of your city it won't come in as clear. The size of the antenna is literally the size of my palm and I'm a woman of average height and hand size, so about 5 or six inches. Not big at all! Might be why the service area is smaller.For close to 20 bucks it's not a bad deal. But keep your expectations low.

I have an older car that has no Bluetooth so I have a Bluetooth transmitter that connects to my FM radio and the stock antenna was horrible I would have to switch stations when traveling to other cities. It honestly sucked. When I purchased this and put it on my car I literally drive into the same areas that used to sound crazy with the stock antenna. Now with this new antenna there’s no Disturbance. I’m honestly upset I didn’t buy it sooner !

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a short antenna that would look good on my truck and this antenna definitely fits that box . I also think it has a very nice price for what it does ,and that is gives you very good reception for your local radio stations .one negative is the washer that came with the Antenna, it's a little small and doesn't give a good tight snug fit as it's suppose to do .but overall I'm very happy with this antenna .
