Safe and Fun for All AgesLet's be honest, sometimes you just need somewhere to direct your kid's energy. Get them away from the T.V. with the easy-to-use Swivel Car. This ride on car is so safe and easy that a toddler can enjoy it, and the heavy-duty construction is sure to let older kids (or even adults!) have a blast. This car relies on gravity and friction created by the rider. Not only is this great exercise and entertainment, but the Swivel Car helps children develop their motor skills as they cruise around tables or roll around on the driveway.New and Improved WheelsWe upgraded the wheels from the polypropylene plastic that easily breaks, to polyurethane (rubber) wheels. This is a huge innovation that makes for a faster, smoother ride that can handle rougher surfaces. Here's a quick rundown on the benefits of using polyurethane:The material is more elasticCan rebound- the wheel will return to its original shape quickly after being distorted. These wheels can handle rougher surfaces as it will conform to the shape of a small rock, then quickly rebound to its original shape. This also minimizes the rolling resistance of the wheel so it can ride faster and smoother. Resistant to flat spotting- A lot of wheels will wear in only one spot, which makes an annoying egg-shape that ruins the wheel's functionality. The polyurethane is more durable, but will wear evenly to prolong the life of the wheel. Won't scratch hardwood floors ABEC 7 bearings- We also added Abec7 bearings which cause less friction, so these wheels are more durable for longer-lasting fun.Indoor or Outdoor UseHere's another bonus. The wheels won't scratch or dent your hardwood floors, making it great for both indoor and outdoor use. This quiet car can give your kid great exercise and fun even through those long winter months or on bad weather days.

Really fun!
The direction just have pictures, not words, so it was a little difficult to understand. But it was together within half an hour and all you need is a mallet. My kids(ages 3 and 6) love it! We have hardwood floors and the kids ride around all day and they both can ride on it at one time. It is too cold to ride anything outside now, and this has been a great way to keep them active inside.

Great ride on toy, but not for all ages and weights.
The car is a lot of fun for kids in my daycare. Usually the 3-year-olds have to spend a little time figuring out the mechanics of it, but eventually they do. I don't recommend it for kids younger than 3. They're just not strong enough to get it going very well. Heavier kids are able to get it going more easily and can make it go faster, as their weight will help with the momentum. The steering wheel is able to spin all the way around, and for kids it can be confusing which way it's supposed to go. If the steering wheel is not facing the right direction, the car won't go.Make sure the middle rod attached to the steering wheel is very securely screwed on. Over time it tends to unscrew, especially if heavier kids (or silly grown-ups) are using it.All that being said, it's a great toy to get kids introduced to the concept of momentum and it's great exercise for little (or grown-up, if you're adventurous and not too heavy) arms. It's definitely a nice change of pace from tricycles or scoot-along cars and a fun addition to my daycare.

Tons of kid fun!!
My nephews from age 3 to age 16 enjoy playing with this toy. We have a long concrete drive & every kid that comes over wants to ride this car when they come to our house. We have purchased 3 of them so they can scoot around the driveway together. One of the most used toys at our house. ***UPDATE 11-14-14 - these cars have been used as bumper cars, racing cars & I can assure you, my nephews have put some miles on these things & surprisingly, they have held up to "rough boy usage". I am very happy with these in particular - thick plastic frame & thick plastic wheels = tons of kid fun at our house!

Wonderful for indoors or out.
I had purchased two of these several years ago for my granddaughters. Now my grand sons want one. This is a lot better price than on the first two I bought and the tires are a lot better on these. My grandsons Love these.

One of the best toys I've bought
Great toy! It's a little too big for my 2 year old, he has not quite figured out yet how to get this toy moving. He just sits on it and pushes with his legs. For now I often ride this toy together with my son, or he'll happily get his pillow racer and I'll take the swivel car and we race around the house. So from my personal experience I can say that it rides and turns smoothly and it's a lot of fun to ride it.

Best value I ever got with a toy
I bought one of these for my twin 2 year old grand kids. They loved it so much, that I bought a second one. They use them all the time. They are well built; an adult up to 250 pounds can ride it. You need a smooth surface. I have hardwood floors. With the soft rubber tires, there are no marks. The twins push themselves with their feet, and are now getting to use the stairing wheel to swivel. I highly recommend this toy. At $34+ you can't go wrong.

It works as well as the Plasma car
I almost returned this car because at first I had trouble getting it to move forward, even though I did assemble it correctly, tightened the wheel, and was on level ground. There is a rhythm to "wiggling" the wheel: turn at least 45 degrees in each direction, gently swerving side to side. If you move it back and forth too quickly (or only an inch to the left or right), there won't be as much forward motion. It picks up speed just fine now.
