Arrived promptly. I found the instructions for changing the default date very easy to follow. Remembering a date is much easier than a random combination. Fitted suitcase zipper perfectly. Construction feels reasonably solid considering the size. Product is good, but not all dates can be selected. My partners birthday is in Dec and we wanted to set his birth date, but the mechanism does not click in on Dec. Any other month worked (no idea why)...Still, it works well enough.

Good strong lock which looks good and appears to be fairly strong. The 480% additional number of combinations over a standard 4 digit combination lock is a big plus.However, there are couple of downsides.1. The shank is actually quite short. Can complain too much about this as it isobvious from the pictures on the product page.2. The combination can be difficult to set. The instructions are accurate but sparse and don't emphasis just how sharply you have to pull up the shank to make it click. This explains all the review which claim the lock can't be set.

These are really nice locks. The clasp isn't huge, but is good enough for suitcases and hand luggage. Easy to set your chosen date. Good looking. Fast delivery too.

Have bought four of these think they are great no need to remember codes and easy to set up.

As locks they were fine. They seemed well built and felt strong but where they failed big time in my opinion is the difficulty in reading the letters and numbers, especially if your eyesight isn't what it used to be. The letters and numbers are printed in sort of grey on a pewter colour background which was extremely difficult to read through the small windows.If your eyesight is 20/20 then go ahead and buy them, but if you are in middle years like me and no longer have 20/20 vision then I wouldn't recommend them.

Excellent date lock. Easily changed to the memorable date and study enough for cases without adding excess weight.

Useless lock. Useless manual. Wasted money and time. It could not be pushed up or down. Seller earned money by selling unusuable lock. Do not buy it. One pound lock is much much worth than this.
