Want to know what happened to Annie? Leo? Donna? Look inside...
This is a very brief, quick read, which you can finish in an evening. It takes the format of a dossier compiled by Special Agent Tamara Preston, summarising the events which happened to the main characters in Twin Peaks. This is not like the previous volume, The Secret History, which was a very clever compilation of historical documents to create a rich backdrop to the series. Again written by series co creator and writer Mark Frost, this volume is an authentic and compelling insight into the most surreal and brilliant show ever seen on television. This book is simpler, shorter, less rich in depth and detail than the first book, but no less satisfying. In fact, much more so.Why?Because what this does is clarify questions fans of the series have been left asking. Whatever happened to Annie Blackburn? What was wrong with Harry Truman? Who had the weird creature crawling into her mouth all those years ago? Who was Jouday? How long was Audrey in a coma? The answers to all these questions lie within.A must buy. This book spoils nothing, but tidies up some burning questions, and clarifies some confusion. This is the real deal. Short but sweet.

Clarity Without Losing Mystery
A fine addition to the existing twin peaks fiction that provides some answers, detail and flavour to the characters while still retaining a lot of the core mystery. This book won't answer everything but some big questions outside of the main plot are addressed in some way. Short and to the point. The hardback edition is very high quality with some good double page photos from the third season of the show. The small jacket is a little annoying so I just took it off until I was done with the book.

Fills in a lot of blanks, short and snappy read!
Outstanding link between the end of series two and 2017 The Return series.Short and snappy, just over 100 pages of reading material in effect, but plenty of nuggets to keep Peaks geeks like myself occupied.Starting with the autopsy (by Albert) on Leo Johnson from back in the day, the book takes of chapter form in the shape of FBI reports collated by Tammy Preston about characters from the two. The vast majority did not feature in The Return, so this gives closure on a number of loose ends.No spoilers here, but plenty of wow factor revelations that close out a lot of the unknowns from The Return. If you're a Peaks fan, definitely recommended reading!

Cool Book!
A nice sequel to the previous book that went into the history of Twin Peaks. It's quite thin in comparison but has lovely presentation.I took a star off because my first order came damaged, the spine was slightly ripped, and the embossing on the spine was also slightly off. The removable cover was also faded a bit, but that tends to happen on a lot of these on the folded parts. The weird thing was this book wasn't wrapped in cellophane, yet 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' was, so I attributed the transport damage to that. The replacement order was fine though, and made a great gift. :)

A book both wonderful and strange...
This sequel to last year's The Secret History of Twin Peaks brings Mark Frost's extended mythology up to date, offering many explanations and clues for series three whilst managing to keep the mystery truly alive. It is an interesting read of the perfect length and keeps you flicking through the pages with a slight tease of what is to come next toward the end of each chapter. I couldn't recommend it enough, though Twin Peaks is so often attributed to David Lynch, Mark Frost has shown his individual strength with this book even more than TSHoTP and shown just how much of the series' lore we have to thank him for.

Mark Frost ties up some loose ends ... and it’s brilliant!!
Well done Mark Frost!!! The Final Dossier is THE book for Twin Peaks fans frustrated by the loose ends that did NOT get tied up in The Return. This book has answers!!! Read it and squeak... or squeal and clap your hands like a happy sea lion. What it isn’t is a continuation of the weirdness and wonderfullness of the series’, it doesn’t have the suspense and suspenders, it doesn’t have Bob or Judy, and Sara Palmer doesn’t show us what a facelift really looks like... but it’s good! It puts the two’s and two’s together. What happened to Donna? Yep, The Final Dossier gives model answers. A super read.

Coop, you'll wanna take a look at this!
Wow! If you were confused after the abrupt ending of season two, couldn't fathom what was going on in FWWM and remained befuddled by season three, the final dossier provides numerous answers to those countless conundrums.Years of theorising and obsessing over the storyline gaps in the fictional yet engaging lives of your favourite Twin Peaks characters get tied up in a neat bow. But don't worry, the mystery stays alive and the doors remain open for future iterations of Peaks. It's the book nobody expected but most of the TP fanbase will take great enjoyment in. It's... pardon me... damn good!

How's Annie?
I'm fine. Wow an amazing piece of work which ties in so beautifully with everything else that came before, the series, the film, the return and all the books. It's like a missing piece of the puzzle that puts minds which have been left somewhat confused at the end of 'the return' at peace. It also confirms stuff that my mind tried to wrap itself around and making weird theories of. A must for every Twin Peaks fanatic out there!
