These Lights are not worth it
I don't understand all of these complaints. Both sets included two batteries each so that all I had to do was pull out the plastic tab and turn them on. They are a lovely white, not like LEDs and yet not yellow either. The copper wire is thin enough so that it is almost invisible. This is one heck of a buy and thirty lights were perfect for a tiny table-top Christmas tree which looked sort of bare with a 20-light string.ADDENDUM on December 18, 2017. I have to retract my five-star review because these lights begam to dim the second night we used them. They are so dim that they are barely visible, perhaps because the batteries aren't strong enough, but our little tree needs new lights. I would not purchase these lights again.

Missing batteries
Each string takes two batteries and they only send one battery per string. I see this is a common thread..... so if you want to operate the lights be prepared to have to go buy batteries.

Was a little disappointed in these lights
Was a little disappointed in these lights. They take CR disc batteries and they didn't last very long. Had to replace them before the holidays were over. They aren't very bright, either.

Heads up
Be warned, for the 2 sets you need 4 batteries and they send you 2. When contacted, the seller responded they only include 2, so this basically doubles your cost to use both strings at once.However they are a beautiful white light.

Not what I expected for string lights. Each set is shorter, and requires 2 batteries each. They give you 2 batteries, but you need 4 total....which is strange. They also short out when you move the string at all. Just poorly made.

These are unfortunately a waste of money
Buyers beware. These are unfortunately a waste of money. They do not work and I can not use them. I was so bummed. I had ordered some before but they must have been from a different company.
