AMAZING

I purchased this item about two years ago and have used it for brief periods about a dozen times. I always empty the thing of fuel after each use and drain the carburettor. I use fresh fuel each time I use it. The ignition pack has failed and it is proving impossible to get parts and service. The company from whom I purchased the unit no longer exists and there do not appear to be service centres in the U.K. I would advise prospective purchasers to avoid this unit like the proverbial plague.

Had one about 5 years ago, recoil is a nightmare, used only a couple of times and the carburetor and plastic casing gave in on the bottom with time.

I have had this unit since September 2010 and although I have not used it much - probably 14 hours continuous use, it has proved to be very useful.If it has not been used for a long time, it can be a bit of a pig to start, but if used recently, it is fine.It easily copes with big changes in load, say from 100w to 2000w, with little voltage fluctuation and no discernable change in the frequency - which is spot on at 50hz.I am sure that the Honda is probably an easier start, but at 3 times the price, I think not.

We purchased this model some 2 years ago and like the other reviewer have found it the worst white elephant we have ever purchased. It has only run for around 20 hours in all that time. It will not start, or it fails within minutes of starting. It may look the part, but be warned you will be buying 'a pig in a poke'. It is not fit for purpose.
