Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 | 1 Device | 1 Year | PC/Mac/Android | Download

Bought because it has a very high rating compared with some other anti-virus products. It cost less than the renewal fee for another product that I have used for years. In the prevailing attempt to make user interfaces more simple some user setting opportunities are submerged. I feel that I have not got absolute control although the product is certainly doing its job - I think.

I bought this item on recommendation from Which magazine so I assume that it will provide the security I require for my PC.I found the installation procedure unfriendly. If you follow the instructions you end up being asked to pay for security that you have already paid for! Trying via Kaspersky Support gives the installation process required - why don't they tell you that?

Kaspersky is not a resource hog by any means, im running windows 8 , its got a very friendly user interface , cloud protection is a real bonus real time protection on new wild bad things intent on screwing up ur laptop / pc , i only use this product now , tryed macafee got a ransom ware on it less then 15 mins useing the net with that crap and i wasnt even on any unsavoury site wtf , sombody recommend kaspersky who worked at pc world , i havnt used another provider since and would happly recommend this product to all ,

I have used Kaspersky for a few years and have always been very satisfied with their product, so why only three stars? It's just that I would have preferred the option to be able to buy a CD-Rom instead of having to download from the Kaspersky site. If I am paying good money for something. I would like more than just a plastic case and a piece of paper for the money. The other thing I did not like was that after downloading the program, I did not get the option to enter the authorisation code until about fourteen days before the expiry of the previous program but I could not find any information that told me so - I had to wait to see what happened. I get the impression that Kaspersky, like other software manufacturers, are using their reputation to sell their product while cutting production costs and ignoring the wishes of some of their customers. So come on, Kaspersky, how about a CD-Rom next year?UPDATE 22/06/2017. I have been having trouble for a few days now, trying to log in to ebay. Ebay opens in Protected Browser and trying to log in only sends me back to the login page. Ebay runs OK if I click on, Open in Current Window. For ebay, the only way to use Protected Browser, I have found, is to go to Privacy Settings in Kaspersky, and disable Private Browsing. Then go to ebay, log in by clicking on the My ebay Summary link and then log in. Then go back to Privacy Settings in Kaspersky and re-enable Private Browsing. A couple of other sites I go to that use Kaspersky's Protected Browser are unaffected. There seems to be something weird about ebay.

Really easy to install. Comes in a DVD shape box and just has a instruction booklet and a credit card shaped bit of plastic inside. You simply go to the website (using the device you want to download it to). You download the version you bought, it will start downloading and may ask to undownload any other antiviruses you have installed (my laptop had a trial version of McAfee) it did it all for me and then asks for the licence key which is on the credit card bit. Then you may need to restart, then it's done :)

Good, easy to install and efficient.

Came as ordered, new license code only, no disc. This obviously suits those people who, like me, already had KIS 2016 and just needed to renew.Nothing could be simpler, simply enter the code in your license window and the 'new' will replace the 'old' when it expires. Best bit is no risk involved by having to download it or using a disc to set it up.
