Building a Quadcopter with Arduino Paperback – January 5, 2016

This book is nothing like the title suggests. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! This book does not walk you through building an Arduino quadcopter as the title suggests. The book simply walks you through building a quadcopter with an existing (well known and popular) "Arduino-based" quadcopter. The process for building the quadcopter is VERY WELL DOCUMENTED on the website of the manufacturer that sells the controller. This book is a complete rip off and I would not recommend this to anyone. WHAT A SCAM!

Good for general parts, what motors, materials, ideas. The book uses a special sort of arduino that already includes all the GPS/gyrometer...ect and is hooked up to some software.Only about an 1-1.5 hour read. Worth the read before building a quadcopter.

I'm confused about the title. The book only shows you pictures of the arduino. Doesn't tell you a thing how to build using one.

Good beginner's book. Should have more photos to supplement the description.

It does not teach how to write a flight controller code.

For me this is the best book I have read about building quadcopters but the title is misleading, I thought (and looking at the cover) that this would be a build from scratch, it sort of is but the main board is called an Ardupilot, search for it in amazon and see the prices, I thought that this book would be using an actual arduino board, you know the boards that can do loads of projects. The book also mentions the materials what the quadcoptets can be built from but doesn't show any drawings, it just says you can build using this and gives pros and cons.Still the best book out there as other build from scratch books use kits where you buy all bits as 1 package. I want to make my own frame from scratch using plans for example.

This book is what we indian enginners call "CHUTIYAAPA" basically it has lot of pictures which of no use not a single code or valid instructions if you are taking interest in making drones with Arduino follow forums and there is lot more info you can search on google. Please stay away from this book. Its a Ardupilot manual nothing more

Really disappointed with the content.The title is misleading.Its a hardware manual dos and Dont's of diy quadcopter.Really nothing on Arduino only 2 pages.Dont get cheated ...and one of the worse author I hv seen

it is very basic you cant not do anything only using this book.
