The media could not be loaded. The original plastic aglets started to come off the ends of my hiking boot laces. I didn't want plastic ones again so spent a teensy bit more and got these metal ones. I absolutely love them! They're easy and difficult to use at the same time but, if you work w/ them, they're a great product. The process is straight forward but requires a delicate touch to close them as the metal is very soft.I first singed the end of the laces to get rid of fuzzy strands and then inserted them into the open aglet. The directions say to use pliers to close them but, and this is where I say they're delicate, the metal is so soft, it's very easy to just clamp down on them but I think that will make them flat and possibly give them some sharp edges so fiddling w/ the pliers to shape and mold them is advised instead of just squeezing down. Mine came out exactly as I imagined they would - nice and round and the grooves and prongs worked exactly as designed. If you don't have the patience to mold them using the pliers, these might be frustrating to use.I hope this doesn't dissuade anyone from using these because they're an excellent product.

I thought that these might be too small but they fit my round sneaker laces perfectly. Easy to crimp into place with my needle-nose pliers.

These are a great help for when your shoe strings are too long.I purchased these for my Granddaughter’s Tap Shoe strings & they worked perfectly.I only gave it 3 stars due to inconvenience, because I had to do an exchange because most of my first purchase was damaged & unusable. The exchanged ones were all great.

My son has an issue with chewing on the strings of his hoodies. They end up looking ragged and gross. These have fixed that!! They look great AND he doesn’t want to chew on them!! For me, they’re a great value, they’re durable and go on easily.

Fixed the laces to my kids boots within SECONDS

These would work great on regular athletic or boot laces, but the elastic I was using them on was lighter weight and I needed to double it up to get enough bulk for these to work well. Also, Amazon indicated the day they would be delivered and they were a day late, as often is the case. Amazon should do better with honoring their delivery dates.

I purchased a hoodie and the drawstrings simply had knots at the end and I didn’t think that it looked very finished. I found this product and I was really happy with the end result. It’s very easy to insert the drawstring into the metal clamps and when they’re closed, it looks quite polished, I would recommend this product.

They work good

Bought these for my hockey skates. I struggled to get the tip of my laces through the eye holes every time I laced them up. These tips are long and sturdy. Simple to put them on with small needle nose plyers.

It keeps the ends from falling apart, but it is too large to go threw shoelace holes. Put it on after the shoe us laced up.
